Mr. ******* came to the dealership on 1/27/2024 and checker over and test drove the 2013 **** **** and then proceeded to purchase the vehicle. He agreed to the terms and conditions and then came back on 1/29/2024 to finalize and pickup the truck. Subsequently a couple days later he came back and mentioned there was a small blister in the rear wheel well that he noticed and wanted to see about having it repaired, we recommended *** ******** and he took the truck over to them to have the area checked out ,we notified him we would help by splitting the cost of the cosmetic repair of $400 to accomodate. Mr. ******* asked the body shop about potential future repairs to the bumper and also the rockers and cab corners to the vehicle. Mr. ******* called and spoke to the General Manager and was told we would be willing to split the cost of repair to the bumper of $1,000 so each would pay $500 towards the repair. Mr. ******* then proceeded to say that he would like to have the rockers and cab corners repaired and stated that he does not wish to pay for any cosmetic repairs. He stated if Michael's Auto Plaza was not willing to pay for the repairs then he would report this to the BBB and also his lawyer. We advised him that cosmetic repairs are NOT under any type of warranty and we were only willing to help him with some of the cosmetic repairs as a sign of good faith. We never misled Mr. ******* in any way, shape or form with this. He was given adequate time before he made his purchase on the vehicle to review condition.

Mr. ******* came to the dealership a couple days after purchase and inquired about a small blister in the rear wheel well. We advised him to go to * * * **** **** to have it looked at and receive a price quote. We never agreed or told Mr. ******* we would replace the bumper and parts etc. It was a while afterwards Mr. ******* said he wanted to have the bumper replaced and does not want to pay anything towards the cosmetic repairs. Again we offered to split the $1,000 cost of the bumper repair and also the wheel well as a sign of good faith for the repair and Mr. ******* has not agreed to that. Cosmetic repairs are not covered under any warranty and Mr. ******* came to the dealership twice before he finalized the purchase and was given the opportunity to look over the vehicle prior to purchase.

On September 6 I purchased a 2011 ***** **. On September 7th I had emailed the business and I let them know that the car has stalled. There was issues the car with shake. I brought it up. They did absolutely nothing about it. They didn’t even look under it. They didn’t check for any codes or anything. It has happened multiple times in between then and now . I have contacted the dealership multiple times for a correction within the time of my warranty and nobody has fixed it. Now that my warranty has expired is now when they want to put it in a garage because I had it towed to their business. Now I am being charged $300 out of pocket to fix something I’ve had an issue with since I purchased the vehicle. When I called the owner of Michael’s auto Plaza, he told me to “pay the $300 or f*** off.” I am not happy . This is uncalled for and a sorry excuse for a business . They force you to put good reviews up on the day of the purchase.

Customer took delivery of the vehicle on September 6 2022 with mileage of 103943. We were unaware of any service issues up until recently, no service appointments have ever been made with the service department.  The current odometer on the vehicle is 108145 which is a difference of 4202 miles.  Customer called and spoke with our salesman, GM and Owner, she was rude, offensive and verbally abusive.  We did not charge her the $300 for the service repair, it was a separate repair facility that we had put the customer in contact with.  She has been out of NYS lemon law warranty for over 3000 miles.semax bbb
