      The worst experience ever. DO NOT BUY FROM PC RICHARDS. I bought a new refrigerator in December. In the first 3 months it broke 4x. All allegedly different problems. I purchased the extended warranty )even though it's still under factory warranty) and it made no difference. Once you report it broken it takes at least a week for someone to come and repair it. And another week to get the parts they need. And another almost week to come back. I've now been without a fridge for over a month or more. It works for a few days and then the whole process has to start again. Absolutely rediculous!! Avoid PC Richard's at all costs.

      It really doesnt take much effort to find a mountain of one-star PC Richards reviews. The reason is no mystery: their service is absolutely horrendous. I bought an ** washer and dryer from PC Richards a few years ago and paid extra for their 5-year extended warranty for peace of mind and quick repairs. Neither happened!Heres the highlight reel of my magical journey:2/5/25: I report a TE1 error code on my dryer.A few days later, a tech shows up toget thisread the same error code I already told them about. They order a part: the Main Control Board.12 days later, the part is installed. Dryer works! (For a few glorious weeks.)Dryer dies again. Same error code. I call again. Another tech visit, another reading of the error code, and now a new part is needed: the Thermistor.That part? Easily available on ****** in two days. PC Richards? Not so much.4/17/25: Thermistor installed. Doesnt fix it. Shocker. Tech says we now need a third part: the Wiring Harness.I call for an update and am told the part will arrive within three days.Last I hear from PC Richards is an email on 4/23/25 saying the part is delayed. Surprise!So, more than two months later, on 4/25/25, I gave up and bought a new ** dryer from BestBuy. It arrived in four days. I installed it myself. Problem solved.I guess PC Richards operates on a different definition of service. One where your time means nothing, your inconvenience is irrelevant, and resolution is a vague concept reserved for marketing. Im done with them.Oh, and when you post about your miserable experience? Expect their signature canned response:Were sorry to hear about this negative experience. Blah blah blah please send us a direct message with your invoice number or call customer service... well work with you to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.Ah yes, because restarting the nightmare from square one is just what every frustrated customer is dying to do.

      We renovated a house on Long Island over the winter of 2023/2024. We bought a full set of premium appliances from the ** Richard store in *********. They were delivered in January of ********************* March of 2024.Most of the appliances have been fine, but the refrigerator, a Viking VCBB5363ERSS, has been continuous ********** started leaking water onto our kitchen floor. It turned out that the icemaker was overflowing the tray and ice was melting in the bottom of the freezer compartment. In addition, the vegetable drawers simply fell out.Technicians came and fiddled with it. Nothing got better.Another tech promised us that he could get a different part that would make the ice maker stop before overfilling the ice tray. After waiting a month or more for the part the tech told us that the part did not exist.After five visits with no success I asked them to remove or turn off the ice maker. A tech visited and turned off the ice maker.The next day the breaker on the circuit feeding the refrigerator tripped. We reset it. Within a few hours it tripped again.We threw out all of the ruined food from the fridge.We asked ** Richard for a refund. They teased us by suggesting that they would give us a credit for an exchange. We said we might be interested. Today they told us they would not follow through with the deal and instead offered a visit from a third service company. [The previous six visits were from two different companies.]Both technicians told us that the icemaker for this model of refrigerator ALWAYS has this problem and can not be fixed. And that the problem with the vegetable drawers falling out affects every instance of this model. They would not, however, confirm this in writing, fearing for their jobs.We paid a premium price for a premium brand in the expectation that we would get a premium ************

      I am a patient in hospice care and have been dealing with your service department for 11 days with a run around on getting a ***lacement refrigerator for our BECO that died on 4/2, I had purchased an Extended Warranty Agreement for $400 from your store in *************. After more than 12 communications to your service department I am told today by my last call with the *** that, his supervisor, will approve a ***lacement if the part does not arrive by Monday, 4/14. Still waiting never called back as yet 4/14.

      If I could leave zero stars I would!I purchased a ******* laundry center from P.C. **************************** in July 2024, and it has been nothing but a nightmare ever since. My dryer stopped working, and I placed a service call. A technician came on 2/14 just to diagnose the problem, and another visit was scheduled for 3/7 to replace the thermometer and motherboardonly for them to realize the motherboard was defective.A new service appointment was set for 3/24, but it was canceled just 10 minutes before my scheduled windowtotal disregard for my time. Another appointment was set for 3/28, where they replaced the coils and igniter, but once again, they sent the wrong motherboardthe one for the washer instead of the ******** this point, I had taken FOUR DAYS off work for service calls and still had a broken dryer. They wanted to come back AGAIN to install the correct part, but after escalating my complaint to customer service, they finally agreed to a replacement. But heres the kicker******* no longer makes the same model, and P.C. **************************** refused to offer anything comparable or provide any kind of credit. I was forced to get a cheaper machine, with no compensation for the massive inconvenience.I just returned to work fresh off childcare leave, and P.C. **************************** has shown zero regard for my time, money, or livelihood. Their service is completely unacceptable, and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves.

      Purchased an almost $500 "new" air conditioner along with over $200 installation and $60 haul away for old air conditioner. The installation tech botched the installation (instead of drilling into alloted hole for s**** he screwed into the frame of the air conditioner and my window leaving the air conditioner to rest up against the s**** as a means of holding it (complete safety hazard and devaluation of brand new air conditioner frame). Furthermore the "new" air conditioner will not push out cold air unless set to lowest setting of 60 and highest fan! No compressor EVER kicks in and even after an hour room is not cooled. PC Richards refused to refund installation charge despite viewing photo and admitting thats not proper installation. They also only over a technician to come out in effort to repair my BRAND NEW just installed today air conditioner! Why would a Brand New Unused air conditioner need a technician to make it work!!? They should be replacing a new unit that doesnt work with a new unit that does work! They are thieves who clearly sell used non working merchandise disguising it as new, selling it at inflated prices giving the finger to their hard working trusting customers.

      ******** customer service. I bought extended warranty for my refrigerator *******. The cost of warranty is about $600. The fridge stopped working almost two months ago, I called customer service , they scheduled technician visit to review the issue. The technician ordered the parts to fix my fridge, after this visit I had three more technician visits over past two months. Where tech tried to fix the fridge and kept ordering parts . I have to mention that parts were not available so I was waiting for the last tech visit about two weeks. The fridge does not work, as tech said it cannot be fixed and needs a replacement and I have to wait for updates from pc Richards. Sine techs last visit on Friday, March 7 I did not hear from PC Richards. Finally I called them yesterday to check my replacement status. They promised to call me back same day- no avail. Today I called again and was told that another tech visit is scheduled for the next week . In fact I was told that their policy is to replace the fridge after 3 unsuccessful attempts to fix the fridge. This company takes advantage of peoples patience and tries to avoid replacing the fridge by wasting customers time and making people to give up. They break their promises and acting dishonest and disrespectful towards their customers I can say the ************************* is HORRIBLE. I wouldnt advise anyone to buy it.

      horrible customer service. Bought TV with extended warranty. Motherboard fried on a 2 year old TV. I had to wait a week for someone to even come look at it. Was told the part would be in later that day and the *** would be back the next day to fix it. well seems ***** the service manger of *** doesn't stand by his people. I am not forced to TV and find someone to come to my house some time in another week to see if I can get my TV fixed because h*** I don't have to go to work. I can just keep taking days off for this issue. so now I may have no TV for another week, a month. who knows. do not buy an extended warranty from PC Richards. In fact I wouldn't buy anything from them ever again and you know what? they don't care.

      I have been waiting for three months for them to fix my dryer. Every time the technician come, theres another problem. At least the first guy used to fix stuff and order parts. The other two guys are standing fix nothing parts, which they dont never gets fixed. Im asking for a replacement dryer and a refuse to replace the dryer.

      GETTING RUN AROUND WITH ***** THAT UNDER WARRANTY. I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON A ***** REPAIR SINCE 12/25. EVERY WEEK, THERE'S SOMETHING THAT COMES UP THAT DELAYS MY REPAIR. ONE WEEK, THEY ARE ORDERING THE PART. THEN, I RECEIVED AN ***** THAT THERE WAS A DELAY IN PART. WHEN THE PART ARRIVES, THE TECHNICIAN CAN'T INSTALL IT BECAUSE HE NEEDS ANOTHER PART. THE ***** COMES IN THAT THERE IS A DELAY IN THE NEW PART. WHEN THE PART ARRIVES, THE TECHNICIAN NEEDS ANOTHER PART. AFTER ANOTHER WEEK, THE PART NEEDED IS DELAYED, AND I HAVE TWO OPTIONS: 1. FULL CREDIT OR 2. WAIT FOR THE NEXT PART. I CHOSE OPTION 1. I VISIT THE STORE AND GOT THE NEW ***** WITH MY CREDIT. THE SALESPERSON DOESN'T INCLUDE INSTALL. SO WHEN THE RUDE TECHNICIANS ARRIVE, THEY HAVE TO RETURN THE ***** BECAUSE THEY CAN'T HOOK UP GAS LINES. I REVISIT THE STORE; A NEW ORDER IS WRITTEN UP, AND THE NEW ***** IS SET TO ARRIVE WITH INSTALLATION. EARLY IN THE AM, DELIVERY DRIVERS CALLED WANTING TO COME AT 730 AM WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE AT 10 AM. DELIVERY DRIVERS ARRIVE AT 1230 PM, BUT CA EVEN DELIVER THE ***** BECAUSE THE ***** IS DAMAGED.
