            I had a kitchen remodel done at the beginning of the pandemic right before everything was shutdown so the contractor for home base could not come back to finish up some odds and ends also two of my cabinets were warped on the bottom and there is a warranty on them when everything opened again I made several attempts to get resolved home base told me it was between myself and the contractor to finish the contractor that they brought to my home and made it seem like I had to use him since I was going through them…when I asked Tammy about my warranty on cabinets she said I need the make and model which I did not have since I was given no paperwork on them at all…I told her why don’t you have this since you ordered these you should have all that information…Tammy never answered..I have made several attempts to contact by email and phone and not one person has responded to me…I either want my cabinets replaced or some of the money that I paid in full back.

            The carpeting was fine. One installer showed up to do three rooms and said he can't move furniture by himself--even though when the estimator came out we made it clear that furniture needed to be moved. The next day three men came since Home Base subs out the work. The two workers were fine, the boss was rude. We were told that anyone else would have looked at the rooms with furniture and walked out. A tall clock from the 1770s was broken because the boss moved the top part even though I specifically told him that my husband would move the working parts. There was a hassle about the responsibility of repair and we had to take care of it. A local did the repair and Home Base said they could not take responsibility because the costs were not documented on business letterhead, etc. Needless to say we will never do business here again. By the way, the store door is locked with a sign saying you have entry only with an appointment.
