Date of Transaction: 2/20/2024 $3,500 Architecture Drawing. Joe stated that he needed a downpayment of $3,500 to consider his services for an addition on our home. We discussed with him that we have plans to have other proposals from other construction companies, and that we would let him know if we wanted to hire him or not. He was extremely adamant that this is how it's done. He said that the $3,500 would be credited back to us if we decided to use another construction company. He explained this to both my wife and myself. I reached out to him on March 15,2024, stating that we had decided on another company for work to be performed and to credit us back the $3,500. He said that was not the case. He claimed that and that the $3,500 was for architectural drawings. We did not sign any paperwork for him to move forward with any drawings. He sent us a very basic drawing that I will be very happy to share with you. The drawing has no stamp on it from an architect. I also discussed this with another contractor and an architect. They both stated that these would never be approved by the Town of Perinton.
