      I had nothing but problems with this credit union since I opened my auto loan in 9/2019. In 24 months I made over 13k in payments. For 12 of the months I paid extra on my monthly payments ranging from $40 to $200. But for some reason my total loan amount went up not down in 2 years. My monthly payment went up over $100 my third month of financing the car and thousands added to the total loan because they said I didnt have collision. That was not true. I made repeated calle even called them with someone from my car insurance and even a rep from the forced placed insurance. Both told representatives from TFCU that I have full coverage insurance. They told them to remove the thousands put on my overall loan and to put my monthly payment back to where it was. I was never able to get anywhere with tfcu reps. I sent ************************************************ ***************************** in collections emailed me stop contacting us and just make your payments because me and my colleagues wont reply. I told them this is pointless just take the car. I was sent a letter from ***** if I wanted to keep my car and not get t repossessed that I need to pay the 2 car payments and the total amount on my credit card which was over $6,000! That I repeatedly told them had all fraudulent charges months prior. Then in December they received a $30,600 for selling the car, $2847 for the forced placed insurance refund and a check 2/11 for my extended warranty refund $1897.02 they cashed the check but never applied it to the total then end of March sold it off as ************* to a debt collector. I had them change the name on the check to the debt collector 2 weeks ago and mail to them. The total amount remaining was $35,485.20 the debt collector was given an extra $525.92 which should go to me. But on my credit report it says the total amount was $36,949 and even after this check I still owe. Plus how come my over 13k in payments in 24 months didn't touch my loan.

      I am not liable for the debt with TEACHERS FED CREDIT UN. I do not have a contract with TEACHERS FED CREDIT UNYou guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person.They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attatched as well, they are in major violation.

      I USED THE SERVICES OF TFCU TO **** MONEY TO ******** THROUGH BANCOLOMBIA (THE BENEFICIARY ****) ON JANUARY 05, 2022. THE BENEFICIARY IN ******** WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVED *********** ********* PESOS AS STATED IN THE CONTRACT THAT I SIGNED. THIS WAS WAS $26,000,40. (*** MONEY). WHEN THE MONEY GETS TO ********, THE BENEFICIARY WAS TOLD THAT SHE WOULD NOT RECEIVED THE AMOUNT STATED IN THE CONTRACT (*********** ********* PESOS BUT MUCH LESS. IN DOLLAR THE EQUIVALENT WAS ONLY $24, 844 INSTEAD OF THE $26, 040. . THERE WAS NOT DOUBT THAT THEY WERE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ME AND I DECIDED TO RECALL THE **** AND GET MY MONEY BACK. AT THE BEGINNING THERE WAS LITTLE AND ALMOST NO COOPERATION FROM THE TEACHERS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION EMPLOYESS AND MANAGERS TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. ONE OF THE MANAGERS AT TFCU ASKED UNDER DURESS TO WRITE A LETTER STATING THAT I WAS AWARE THAT THERE WOULD BE FEES INVOLVED (THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE IN MY LIFE WITH RESPECT TO ANY ****) OTHERWISE HE SAID HE WOULD NOT HELP ME. I FOUND THIS TO BE VERY RUDE AND DECIDED TO WRITE THE LETTER AND AT THE SAME TIME ADDED IN THAT LETTER THAT THE **** DID NOT HONORED THE CONTRACT SIGNED. AS A RESULT OF THEIR ACTIONS WHEN I RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK THERE WAS $800 DOLLARS MISSING FROM MY MONEY. I COMPLAINED TO SEVERAL MANAGERS FROM THE BRANCH IN *************, ******** AND THE BRANCH IN *********, ******** AND WAS NOT SUCCESSFULL IN GETTING MY MONEY BACK. THEY HAVE STATED THAT BECAUSE I HAD SENT DOLLARS, WHICH I DID NOT, AND DUE TO THE EXCHANGE RATE, I WAS IMPUTED A PENALTY OF $800 WHICH IS VERY UNFAIR. I HAD PREVIOULSLY SENT MONEY TO ******** WITH THE SAME **** AND RECALLED IT AT ONE TIME AND GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK WITH NO PENALTIES, SO THEIR ARGUMENT IS NOT VALID AND I ASKING FOR MY $800 THEY TOOK FROM ME.PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT I HAD PREVIOUSLY SENT MONEY TO ******** IN DOLLARS AND I HAD TO RECALLED THE **** AND GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK. SO THERE IS NO REASON FOR THEM TO TAKE MY MONEY THIS TIME.

      The branch in ********* was provided with legal documents from the court over 10 days ago. They promised to call me once their legal department reviewed. That was March 11. I made an appointment 5 days later but was told only one person could assist me and my name and number were taken. I left a message again today. The court has advised them of what needs to be done. There is only 2 options. I have called teachers several times for a response to manage the accounts. The manager assigned is reportedly *****. No update, no return calls, to my requests. The bank can reach out to me, the court, the attorney with any questions. It is my understanding they cannot ignore court directions. This has been a very stressful time. Before this recent interaction, this branch was helpful,. I am very concerned the branch is deliberately not responding to me and the court paperwork submitted. Im not sure how to proceed.

      I requested to close a savings account that was opened in my name by a lending company Figure Lending. Teachers Federal Credit Union is refusing to close the savings account claiming that I have a loan with them and they need proof the loan is paid off. When I asked them about the loan they told me to call Figure Lending. The reps refused to provide me with any loan details. I asked them why the needed proof the loan is paid if my loan is not with them. They refused to answer my questions and referred me to seperate company. To this day I dont know why a savings account was opened in my name or why Teachers Federal Credit Union is claiming I have a loan but refuse to give me the details of the loan. I feel that Figure Lending got a loan from Teachers Frderal Credit Union in my name, and then charged me for a higher interest rate than what they received. On top of that I attempted to apply for a loan directly through Teachers Federal credit Union but I was denied. So how can Figure Lending and I have a loan with them, but I cannot have a loan.

      I made a few transfer transactions. Now my account is frozen. A transaction fir a deposit was denied. Also cannot take any of my own money out of the account!! No phone call or email. No warning of system issue!!!

      On/about August 2021, my wife and I received checking and savings statements from teachers federal credit union, in Smithtown, NY. We are not teachers or live in New York; so have no reason to join this credit union. I contacted the company to close the accounts in early September; nothing has been done yet. This is fraud. Please help me get these accounts closed out.
