I am seeking an explanation as to why I was declined service only upon revealing that my dental insurance company was ******* ******** / ***** ***** , before I revealed this information it appeared i was going to be scheduled for an appointment,Business response

Dear Better Business Bureau,
This letter is in response to a complaint filed by **** *****. Mr. ***** filed a report stating that we declined service to him because of his dental insurance. Mr. ***** left a complaint on our patient portal on 1/3/22. I tried cailing Mr. ***** on 1/4/22, and left a detailed message on his voicemail with my name and direct extension. Mr. ***** never called me back. On 1/14/22, I received the letter that you sent on Mr. *****'s behalf. On 1/14/22, I left a second voicemail with detailed information for the patent to call me back. Mr. ***** has never returned my telephone call.
Oak Orchard Health does accept Mr. *****'s dental insurance. We are currently on a walting list for new patients. Since Covid, many dental practices have closed and many other practices have stopped taking ******** or ******** based insurances like Mr. *****'s. We simply cannot take on new patients at this point. Our providers are at full capacity. We do have a waiting list that Mr. ***** can be placed on, if he wishes.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

**** ***** i think oak orchards excuse is ******** , clearly they are discriminating against me as they were more than willing rlto offer me a appointment until they found out my insurance was ******* ********, I will file another complaint with ******* and the ny state attorney generals office,,oak orchards excuse just is ridiculous if they were that busy maybe they need to expand hours , buisness must clearly be good when a dental provider can pick and choose patients based on their insurance carrier, they can piss off for all I care , I will continue to expose them for discriminating against ******** patients !BBB THANKS FOR ATTEMPTING TO HELP WITH THIS FRAUDULENT DENTAL PROVIDER * *****
