I'm an American professor living and working in ********, **********. I'm also half-******* (my mother's side). I bought a ticket from Turkish Airlines to fly from ******** to ******** to Rome on August 31st. I was allowed to buy the ticket from Turkish Airlines after speaking with them. When I went on August 31st and showed my negative COVID test, my PLF, and my passport to Turkish Airlines, they approved me for my flight. Then when I landed in ******** and transferred, Turkish Airlines during several procedures approved me for my flight. I then had to wait 5 hours for my flight. However, unknown to myself, Turkish Airlines during this period DISAPPROVED ME FOR MY FLIGHT AND TOOK MY LUGGAGE OFF THE ****** They then waited until boarding and literally five minutes before the door was shut to tell me I was an American flying from a Red Zone to ***** and that I could not board. My luggage was lost for awhile, and a 6-month supply of medication was stolen along with $2000.Initial Complaint

I booked and paid $759.34 to Turkish Airlines. I went to the airport. The ticketing refused to board me because of PCR Covid test. I explained and showed that I'm fully vaccinated , yet they refused. I have email evidence to that effect. I then proceeded to reschedule.They refused to reschedule. I requested cancellation and refund. They cancelled . No refund was received. They did not try to resolve , no communication. I called numerous times. They give email address about refunds that doesn't work. They dont answer their phone. Very unprofessional . They dont care. They made a mistake refusing to ******* because i was fully vaccinated. They should have made every effort to reschedule , but they didn't , and now they have my money without delivering a service . Issue a refund Now. This Airline is a scam , they lure you with low prices and they commit UN-intelligent mistakes and they dont want any accountability, no respectable;e airline company does that period.Initial Complaint

On October 2nd 2020 I used my Turkish air miles to book a star alliance award ticket for myself and my family (4 pax) from Newark to Hawaii for Aug 13th- Aug 22. On or about July 20th I asked Turkish airlines to cancel the reservation for 1 of the 4 pax and was told that they would split the reservation so it could be canceled for just 1 passenger but I would need to contact a local ticketing office to get a refund. On about July 30th of this year I was notified by United that there was a problem with my reservation, and after speaking to United I was told I needed to contact Turkish Airlines and they could re issue my ticket. At this point I began calling Turkish Airlines and getting more and more worried each time I spoke to them. I was told the computer was down and to call back another time. I was told the reservation was pending and to call back in an hour. Finally I was told the truth that a Turkish Airline Rep had deleted part of my reservation by accident and then tried toCustomer response

My senior parents were traveling from LWO (L’viv Ukraine) to New York (JFK) through Istanbul (IST) (UPN2GR) Turkish airlines issued them a boarding pass to New York in L’viv, and they travelled to Istanbul. In Istanbul, Turkish airlines representative denied them to board the flight to JFK because they had a “pending ticket from LWO to JFK through Poland.” They indeed had previously purchased a ticket for LOT airlines (LWO to JFK through Warsaw, Departure July 30, 2021 and Return, August 29, 2021), but they never used those LOT tickets. They never left the territory of Ukraine and their passports didn’t have any stamps indicating they ever travelled to Poland or crossed the border of Ukraine in the past 2 years.
