Terrible salesmanship very unorganized, lied to numerous times. GM is no help what so ever, does not even know what goes on with his people. Very pushy dealership they can only apologize so many times they sound like a broken record. Sent my personal info to another address and said sorry about that. Don't even know what was sent but now someone has my info. Do not go to this dealership.Ford of Latham Response

Hello, there was an address error (computer issue) that was fixed and initially the customer was pleased (gave us a 5-star survey) but we just found out that he is still upset, we have tried to reach him (left a message) and will keep trying to reach him.Review from Greg P

Worst dealership and service department have ever dealt with. Sales department very rude and not helpful and service department has to be worst of all time. After having vehicle for four days to complete recalls with no call backs to any messages that were left was informed that they were not able to complete the recalls because the technician did not have the skills or ability to complete the recall but that they were sorry and that they tried. This is after four days without the vehicle and this call back right before closing time on the fourth day. Avoid this dealership and service department, will pick up vehicle and take it somewhere else.Review from Justine M.

Warning DO NOT buy a vehicle from Ford of Latham. My 19 year old daughter purchased her 1st vehicle, a 2017 ****** ******. We purchased the extended warranty. 8 months after purchasing during the winter, an ice chunk built up due to poor engine design. This ice chunk blew out the main seal in the engine causing the oil to shoot out. This destroyed the engine and the transmission. We had the car towed to the dealership at our expense where it was diagnosed (they charged us $250) The warranty company also came to do an inspection. Because it was due to ice build up (nothing we could have done to prevent this) the repair was not covered. The repair cost is approximately $11,000. When I asked F of L how they were going to help make right on this they told us “well if you lived in FL this would never have happened.” Then they proceeded to try and roll this $16,000 loan over to a 2023 Ford Mustang, ultimately costing $45,000 plus the $16,000. I contacted a lawyer and they said that we do have a case but by the time everything settles we really won’t be in any better of a position. So my daughter now has a car that we can’t fix because the chances of this freezing and happing agin next winter are very high. She still has this car loan to pay for at a high interest rate. 3 months later we are still waiting on the warranty refund to be applied to her loan (we paid an additional $4000 for) And she doesn’t have a vehicle. Her credit is tied up in this loan. The customer service is horrific, the sales team is pushy and after multiple attempts I finally spoke to a manager who was still unwilling to help make right on this experience. In between the time of this purchase and this bad experience my Husband purchased a truck, had it under coated and when he went pick it up it had coating all down the side of the truck. F of L was going to make right on it and they never did. My advice is if you are looking to purchase a vehicle, save yourself the the headache and go elsewhere.Review from Aubrie H

I co-signed a used car for my son. It was a ** *****, after leaving the lot we noticed there was a light on on the dash, they said it was a pressure thing with the tires but will eventually go off. Then when arriving home we went to lock the door, there was no click. The key did not lock the doors or open the trunk. My son returned to latham ford to tell them and he was sent to a near by VW lot where he was told that is not even a VW key and does nothing for the car. There was a remote starter out in place by previous owner and you do not need a key to start the vehicle. It does not lock. They said latham ford has to order one. So back to latham ford he went, they are going to order a key but also allowed my son to drive off the lot again without a key that actually works with his car. The VW people figured out it does not even need to be in the vehicle to start and the salesman was quite rude when discussing the problem. How can they think it’s ok to let people buy a car and not give them a key that goes with it? Did they see a 19 year kid and his mom and think they could take advantage? They can’t as a business think this is doing “good business.” NEVER AGAIN should these people make a sale. Wish I could leave no starsReview from Guadalupe A

Worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. This branch was very understanding of my situation at first and held a vehicle for me because I was moving to CNY, as long as I gave a deposit. That was pretty much the end of the good part of my experience. Buying the vehicle was a huge hassel and they kept blaming my bank for the whole process even though I have had the same bank for 10 years. After I finally received delivery of my vehicle they forgot to include the charger (pretty important for an EV), they mailed me a replacement only to find that it is the wrong charger (kia charger that onlu does level 1). This is a big issue because I made sure I had done setup at home for this charger (1500 for electrician) and now I am having to public charge the entire time I have owned the vehicle. Whole experience was terrible I will never buy another vehicle from this branch ever again.Review from Matt A

I’m simply stating my experience to warn others. If you choose to go here I advise you to go knowing what’s what and understanding the numbers they are telling you. With that being said this is our experience. We worked with the “financial manager Johnny Okyem” link to their site “ https://www.lathamfordmotors.com/about-us/staff/ “ My gf told me she found a car and I couldn’t go with her. I saw that it was a Ford corporate store so I told it would be okay holding faith in a large company what could possibly go wrong? We were willing to pay the price we saw on their website and all the other websites they had it listed as. We had our own financing already approved. What could go wrong? She calls me and says that he said it’s going to be 380 a month for 84 months. Which is about $32000 dollars. Remember this car is $16000 dollars. So I told her to tell him that we don’t need their financing that we have ours already approved. I advised her to tell him we have our own financing and we just want to buy it for the price that’s online for $16000. He said $16000 is the cash price otherwise we have to pay $25000. So I get on the speaker and call him out on his ******** and ask how he’s charging $9,000 because we are using our own financing. He than changed his story that he meant to say 20,500. I said show me on the site where you have it listed for $16000 that it has to be cash otherwise we have to pay an extra $4,000. He ignored me and tried to manipulate my girlfriend by saying who’s buying the car him or you? And told her again that the price was 380 a month for 84 months and refused to talk to me. He told my girlfriend to go elsewhere and was yelling at her that she wasted his time and called me crying because of how he was treating her. I called the sales manager immediately who returned my call within 5 minutes being apologetic for his behavior for trying to rip off my girlfriend by lying and over charging her thousands of dollars. He knew what he was doiReview from Aubrie H
