I am a current customer of the Broker, however I will be moving my business really soon. The broker is a licensed insurance agent who works under the Farmers Insurance umbrella but writes policies for integon and progressive My policy was cancelled unbeknown to me and the *** gave me a suspension order. My payments are up to date and I never received a cancellation notice When I got the *** letter inquiring about my Policy I reached out to the agent I didn't hear from her for days until she finally responded by saying I went on vacation and forgot about you. She never gave me an explanation as to why my policy was cancelled, she couldn't provide a letter either all of which the *** asked her and she couldn't provide it to them either. She was very rude to the *** agent who called her raising her voice and being very defensive, which is the same behaviour I have been facing since the beginning of this issue) I am now facing a suspension order on my plates and the broker/agent is refusing to assist me in any way She provided me a **** number to call Integon myself (a number of which nobody is answering The *** has noticed that me as a person is not at fault here and there was nothing else I could have done to prevent this from happening, the agent told the broker that if she had only done her job this would have never happened. In spite of acknowledging that I am not the one at fault the *** told me that if the broker/agent or the Insurance company can not provide them with coverage for the period in question that I would still need to turn in my plates. Also, please bare in mind that payment was made for the time period that the *** does not have coverage for me. When the *** called the financial institute that the payments are being made too they were told that ETI had no idea that the policy was cancelled either in their system my payments are up to date. I am a customer who was ignored neglected & who now is being penalised because someone did not do their job
