i called TC jeep in Nov 2024 about a ******* they had for sale I asked them if they still had the Suv and he said yes, I then asked if there was any hidden fees or up charges he said No. So i drive 78 miles to *** to see the Car and i said i want it. I then talked to a Salesman and drove the car I saw Damage on the front passenger door which he said { they would fix} I had a Finance RATE of 10% from my bank who Deals with *** and all i have to do is show them the Code and I buy it. The Used car manger tells me they can do a better rate, so i talked to the Finance guy he said he would work on it because i want the car today. waiting around for 4 hrs i finally sit down to go over stuff and sign. I get a We owe form from they for the door. But they want me to sign a paper saying there's no Damage at all. i then find out there's a $3500 reconditioning fee on top of the price and i still don't know if they are beating my Rate of 10% He said my bank has too many fees and he would work on it tomorrow and let me know. 4 days go by and i drive there because he wont come to the phone and he gone and no one knows anything. i called 3 more times the next week and finally got him. He tells me its a 1/4 of a point difference but i still dont know who my Bank is because the paper i signed for the rate was not the lock in price. i then come to find out its over 11.5 % and not my bank. i then call to see about the door repair and i am told they will touch it up with paint and that they don't do autobody repairs.. then what is the 3500$ fee for / his pocket? and they will have their guy touch it up in Jan 2025 and when i ask for his # i get know response and not when i text about getting it done i get no response

    Hi *****,

I spoke with our General Manager, ******* *****, and he has offered us to send your vehicle to the body shop for repair. What we can do is set you up with a loaner and then we can send it out to the body shop. We typically are booked for loaners for about 2-3 weeks out. If you could please call service and ask for ****, I can set up the appointment for you. I work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    Thank you!

I have reviewed the response sent to the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Hi Thank you for your attention to this matter.  I do not feel this resolves my concerns for the following reasons: I don't live around the corner from Town and Country Jeep (TCJ)- I'm over an hour away and cannot easily commute to the dealership. I have already made three round trips to this location to resolve my concerns, and don't wish to travel to their location at least 2-3 times more for the repair on the vehicle to be made there.  If possible, I would prefer to have the repair done at a body shop near me.  I am happy to get more than one estimate and negotiate a cost for the repair that is agreeable to both myself and TCJ.

The second concern I submitted for review was regarding the finance rate for the purchased vehicle. I was approved with **************** for a 10% finance rate.  *********** auto works with *** according to their auto loan website. I was told by *** they would "Beat," this finance rate; however, once I received my first car payment bill, it demonstrates that I am currently paying ***** % with a different lender (** *****.  I feel I have been ripped off.

Hi  i called Town& country Jeep and spoke to the new used car manger , Which is a new mgr since the old one was let go in Dec and was told they will not fix the door the right way just a touch up and that he will not spend the 1000/ 1500 to fix it properly.  and that i signed a paper that said they don't repair damage on their cars and they dont need to fix it  why do i have a WE OWE?  So after him telling me" no one put a gun to your head" and that i must not understand what the finance guy and used car mgr  was telling me and i was not hearing clearly i ended the call

I purchased a Jeep grand Cherokee back in October of 2016 at JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE IN ******** **** When I purchased the vehicle I took out a 7/100,000 warranty. I developed a problem with my transfer case and was told that it was a software problem on two occasion. The car sat the last time at the dealership for over a week back at the end of June and July of 2023. I was sent on my way by *** who told me its all fixed, which it was not. After having smoke ***** ** ** *** on two occasions I took it to an ************************ shop which replaced the whole transfer case for over $5000.00, I have reached out to *** and forwarded a copy of the bill and to this day I have never been reimbursed to this day.

    Hi ****,

We spoke yesterday on the phone and I reviewed the materials you had shared via email. As I shared yesterday we will not be reimbursing you for the repairs you had done at a third party shop. I see the warranty you had purchased but we are not the warranty company. We do not provide payment back to customers for repairs done as we are not a warranty company. That is up to your warranty company based on coverage you purchase.

I see in the texts you shared that you did try calling JCDR/Stellantis but they denied payment because it was done at a third party shop.

    Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Yes I spoke to **** at Chrysler Jeep Dodge and explained I was taken advantage by an employee(***) who no longer works at this dealership. The car was brought in on two occasions while under warranty and *** assured me that he was going to take care of the matter, I spent out of pocket $5400.00 plus another $600.00 in change  for car rental expenses  to get this car repaired and it did not happen. **** from Chrysler Jeep Doge insisted that they are not responsible for their employees actions. So basically she is telling me that when you go for service you are at your own risk when approaching this dealership. Town and Country Jeep Dodge is totally unreliable!!

I brought my 2016 Jeep renegade for servicing. The dealership replaced the head and charged me. Immediately following the car began to leak oil. I brought the car back and they charged me again. Immediately following the car began to leak oil again from the valve cover, which is mounted on the head that was replaced. They charged me again for the repair. The next day the car died on the highway driving home. I brought it into the dealership and they informed me that they forgot to plug in a sensor. I have been charged three times for the same repair. The dealership now claims that an employee stole money and deleted all of their records. They are not communicative and refuse to refund for the theft.

    Hi ******,

I reviewed our records and the amount you are asking for is not what we have on file that you paid. You were offered a $100 discount for the repair with the total paid at $931.72. The technician completed the repair on your vehicle for the parts that had to be replaced. At this time, we cannot offer a refund as the work was completed. If you had any additional issues, you could have brought the vehicle back and asked to speak to a service manager. *** was not a service manager; he was only a service advisor.

On April 20th I took my vehicle (2018 jeep compass latitude) to Town and Country Jeep dealership located at ********************************************************* for a check engine llght. I made the receptionist *** aware that I had the diagnostics and the engine code was due to a cylinder 2 misfire. I waited approximately 2 days and was told it would need an engine repair in the amount of $2400. After a short discussion I told ******** would like to get a second opinion and planned on picking up the vehicle. I then recieved another phone call from *** stating the vehicle would need a full engine replacement in the amount of $8000. I then told her I would be coming to the dealership to pick the vehicle up. On April 22nd I went to pick up my vehicle and was met with Service Manager *** who told me to pay $380.19 for the diagnostic and he believes it would be covered under warranty in accordance with class action lawsuit **** et al v. FCA US LLC. My Vehicle was at the dealership for approximately 6 months. Also I had to use a rental car for 48 days at my own expense $2945.15 which ** currently trying to get reimbursed through corporate FCA but was told they would only reimburse 10 days. After receiving my Vehicle I was met with *** and my vehicle was missing the engine cover and was unable to provide any paperwork that I can forward to the corporate office. After talking to the General Manager ************** and threatening the use of the Better Business Bureau and ****************************** I was contacted by another Service Employee *** at extension *** who even stated he didnt know why I was charge the $380 diagnostic fee. *** whom was very professional had made the appropriate arrangements to get me a new engine cover and the appropriate warranty paperwork. Currently im seeking reimbursement for the diagnostic amount of $380.19 because it should be covered under the vehicle warranty. I would like to make other consumers aware of the lack of transparency and unprofessionalism

March 3rd purchased a used vehicle for my daughter.Vehicle had performance issues which was resolved.March 26th while looking at the vehicle and noticed on the roof there was plemish apon closer inspection there was about a 1 inch area missing and completely rusted. There was some type of repair as there is about a 1/4 inch of bondo on the roof. Which they never discloseed and there car fax said vehicle did not have any accidents or issues.I really don't want the vehicle and would like a comparable vehicle with them taking on all responsibilities and expenses that go along with it. And no extra money by me to be laid out.Or they pay for all the repair cost at the place of my choosing and also the cost of a rental vehicle for the amount of time the vehicle is in the shop for repairs.

3/2 my car was towed to this dealership due to burning smell & car not working. I had an appointment preset with a loaner for 3/6 for them to look at an existing problem. I understood they couldn't give me a loaner on 3/2 as my appointment was for 3/6. They didn't look at my car until 3/7 to only tell me no loaner & to go thru insurance due to rodent damage in the engine bay. Went thru insurance, adjuster went onsite 3/13. Parts were ordered & arrived 3/20. The dealership has not communicated with myself nor have they answered my insurance adjuster. It is now costing me lots of money for a rental yet my insurance is telling me the dealership must give me a loaner. They also have my car and I have no idea what's going on. Looking for assistance with getting this taken care of as I have not received any answers nor has my insurance company.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I picked up the car and moments after I left the same issue occured, power steering locked up causing me to  veer onto traffic on the parkway. The 4x4 light came on and the car started to smell like burn. They didn't even test drive the car because it went in with only two miles less which is documented on the paperwork from the dealer.  For a job that would have taken over 2 days they only did it in a couple of hours to get it in and out due to us pressuring them, my insurance company pressuring them, and the BBB being involved. Now I am $800 out and my vehicle is still having the same issue.

I do not feel comfortable coming in as *** told us to never come back after being extremely disrespectful to my husband. Plus what is the point of coming in if the women in the office are going to stare at me like I did something wrong. I was lied to about what was needed, the work wasn't the work that my insurance company stated was needed and they charged me an extra $200. The only way I will come in is if I am guaranteed a loaner car as my insurance rental is about to expire &  & the proper work will be done. The wiring will be taken care off and the *** will properly fixed whether its under warranty or through the "rodent damage" claim that is being made.

I do not like being this type of customer but I need to be assured the correct/proper work will be done. I drive this vehicle for work and I can not risk getting into an accident due to it locking up again.

August 24, 2022 I walked into town and country Dodge in ********* ******** which I think is owned by the Brodlieb family which I see is the chairman of ****** to purchase a 2022 Durango. After all of the test drive and negotiating I signed left a deposit and was ready to leave for the evening. After the finalizing the contract I come to find out that the vehicle that I test drove and signed the contract for was already been sold. I was very upset and really wanted that vehicle it was not marked sold on the vehicle when I saw it. The vehicle was a very unique vehicle because it had red interior and thats one of the options that I wanted. So they come back to me and say we can give you the other one with the black interior for $10 less a month I declined at that point I said I would really like the one the red interior. The manager at this point quoted me at 689 for 36 months with $3500 out of pocket and stated that they do have another vehicle similar coming in in about two weeks or less I said well I would like to purchase that one we agree on a price rewrite a new contract and I left the evening for the next morning to meet with the finance department. It now get to their finance manager *****************. Then calls me in states that the original deal of 689 that we had is no longer an option for me if I wanted this vehicle it is now going to be $750 a month. He said that my credit was declined for the first bank at the 689 rate due to my cosigner which I was unaware that I was not allowed to have a cosigner to apply for this bank. So without my knowledge they ran other credit reports to try to get the deal done and I wish they would have done that because now I have hard inquiries on my credit report. I then show up the next day with my cosigners credit report that shows opposite of their credit report that got me declined theyre basically strong Arming me that if I want this vehicle I have to pay the $750 a month or I cannot get the vehicle. I have all support docs

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I got denied because of my co-signer. I spoke with ************** and they told me to reapply with a different co-signer to get the deal done. I was told by ***** you are not allowed to if I want this car its $750 a month or take your money back and go somewhere else. I have written proof from CALAuto to do this and it is allowed to. Your manager just flat out Lied to my face. Also ************** again in writing send me that the application was withdrawn meanwhile again I was told it was denied again which is a LIE. I will submit the proof from Cal as well
