I ordered a floral arrangement on 6/27/24 from Sarata Flowers. Within minutes I received an email saying they canceled my order and would be getting refunded. I emailed back asking why. I was told they could not deliver to the area I chose and to expect my refund in 7-10days. I immediately felt this was a scam. I looked them up and saw many people have had the same thing happen to them. I never thought I would have to worry about this type of scam. I emailed them on 7/8 saying I have not been refunded and that I'll give them to the end of the week or I was reporting them. I was told they were sorry and they would be working on it. I still have not been refunded. There are so many complaints on them, something needs to be done!!!! Please help me get my money back from these crooks!!!Business response

I placed an order for a flower arrangement on sarataflorist.com on 7/4/24 and on 7/5/24 was informed the order was canceled and I would be fully refunded $175.13. I contacted sarataflorist.com on 7/9/24 to inquire about the refund as I still had not received it. I received an email back on 7/9/24 that they were looking into the matter and that my money would be, returned to your account as soon as possible. I reached out to Sarataflorist.com on 7/12/24 as I still had not received the refund and asked when I could expect it and was informed, Thank you for notifying us of this issue. We are addressing it promptly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Today is 7/15/24 and I still have not received a refund from the canceled order. Any assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated.Business response

I ordered flowers for a friend's funeral in ************, ******* and paid $154.48 online and received an email with an order number, ******. The next day, June 24th, I received an email canceling the order and stating my account would be credited the full amount. I have yet to receive my refund. I called them last week and received another time-line of 3 business days. When I followed up today they said they issued a refund TODAY and I will get a credit to my account in 3 business days. Because I continue to get the same response and NO refund, I am submitting this complaint to request the BBB intervention and resolution.Business response

I ordered flowers from Sarata florist on May 13, 2024. The amount came to $68.65. About an hour later, they told me that they couldn't send flowers to that address. They said our money was refunded the same day. The refund # is ******. I never received a refund on my **** account. I emailed them to ask where the refund was and they were very nice about it and said that they were working on it. They again responded to my email on June 21 saying that they were working on it. I have since learned that this is a scam and I want my money back. Can you help me?Business response

On June 14, 2024, I placed an order for flowers with Sarata. My order number was ******. My credit card was charged $68.65. On the same day, Sarata emailed me and said "We regret to inform you that your order has been canceled. Once you place your order our team goes to work for you to send your order with one of our local florist partners. However, sometimes it is impossible to get your order out for various reasons." I also received an email stating my order was refunded. The charge was never refunded to me via any method.I emailed Sarata on July 1 and twice again today (July 15), but the money still has not been refunded.Business response

Placed an order for flowers to be delivered to a family after the death of their father. I placed the order on Saturday, June 22nd. Payment was immediately removed from my account and then I received an email almost immediately stating that the order was refunded because it was outside of the delivery area. I contacted the number on the form on Monday morning, June 24th and was informed that because the order was placed over the weekend, it would take 5 days to post back to my account, depending upon my bank. Due to July 4th holiday, I gave them a few more days to refund the money.I called back on July 9th and was told that the refund process was complete and the money should be back into my account by the end of the week; "within 3 days". Nothing has posted back to my account. I contacted them again this morning, July 15th and was told that it will be posted within 3 days.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Its a scam company I have finally been refunded after a month but only because I disputed the charges with my bank. After doing research on this company and all the the complaints that are out there online they are trying to steal peoples money. It should not have taken a month nor should anyone have to wait that long or have to contact their bank to get a refund *********** their name and phone number to read about all the complaints
