I dropped off my 2015 ****** rav 4 to Mavis on commercial drive in ******************* to get an inspection. A couple hours later, The manager called ************* reading off a list of things he says are wrong with my Rav 4.The manager told me the brakes are shot, control arms are shot. I stopped him after he reached about $2000 worth of work and things that he said would fail inspection. I told him then just fail it and I'm coming to pick it up, because I knew what he was saying was incorrect.A couple days later I brought it to a different mechanic shop. They had it all day & thoroughly checked it out. This shop went through everything on the list from Mavis.They said oh my God, Mavis tried to completely rob you. There's nothing wrong with this car. They inspected my Rav 4, it passed with no issues. The mechanic said there's nothing that fails inspection on this car. It should have never failed inspection. He said my brakes have at least a month left on them, the suspension is fine, control arms are fine. Everything on the list is fine. This is absolutely absurd and should not be allowed to happen.The manager at Mavis said if I did all the work, it would have costed me probably over $3,000.

This place takes advantage of unknowledge people especially females by quoting one price and adding on services or non request work , this is a crooked company , dishonest business practices

Worse quality tires and customer **********************. They sold me "new" tires that were made 4 years previous. When it blew out after 4 months, the manufacturer warranty was expired and no one would do anything about it. Horrible customer ********************** for location, corporate and tir manufacturer.

Try to sell extras and when you turn them down they won't do work you went there for

I believe this company (Mavis tire)misleads its customers and does not honour their warranties on tires. I think it is ridiculous to buy four tires in January and in April of that same year have a flat. Having an issue and Mavis refuses to acknowledge the warranty? Why buy a ****** mile Warranty tires only to have them reject the warranty saying they had to purchase them special which is a lie. Dont trust this company. Hopefully its just the Mavis in ******, **********. My first time on line complaining but this company is shady!!!

Could I leave ZERO stars??!!Totally rude & unprofessional.. inferior service and products, unqualified service people. They will destroy your vehicle and leave it beyond filthy. HQ staff is awesome, but that's where it ends.Store and manager staff are not qualifies to deal with the public. have a ************** will stop answering the phones.. Pretty sad when a auto chain acts like a small mom n pop operation.AVOID THESE CLOWNS AT ALL COSTS!!!

DO NOT except any services from this Mavis (NTB) location! I brought my Jeep to receive a routine oil change and tire rotation. Immediately after leaving my vehicle started to franticly shake, smoking and it died right in the middle of a busy intersection! With the help of an officer, got my jeep back to ***. First they told me my water pump and thermostat needed replacing. Ten minute later the technician told me my engine was shot! NEVER had any of these problems with my JEEP before coming to this place. My car had to be towed to my mechanic. He realized I had parts missing from my motor. After a heated phone call between my mechanic and the technician at Mavis (NTB), they brought the parts, but there was parts missing! The manager at NTB claim that they sent all the parts! Due to their negligence at Mavis (NTB), I was left paying a $1,300 repair bill.
