      We are from out of state and I had a tire blow out . They refused to put the tire on. So we had to drive the van to another mechanics shop to have the tire put on. He used a floor **** and changed the tire. They refused to help in any way . They also charged 200 for a tire that sells for *****. I would never recommend this business

      I took my car into Mavis in *********** because the back passenger side tire was making noise I asked for 2 new rear tires The Tec came back and said the sound wasnt coming from the tire but from the shock he said he would have to order new shocks and it would be about 300 so I made an appointment to come back on Friday They replaced both shocks and charged me for an alignment that I said not to do the bill was over $450 I get back into my car and its making the exact same noise !!!!MAVIS in GULF SHORES is TERRIBLE!!! Never trust Mavis with your car ***** ******

      I recently visited the Mavis locations in *********, ** and ********, **. I want to commend the staff at both locations for their professionalism and helpfulnessthey were courteous and attentive throughout the process.However, despite their efforts, they were unable to match a competitive price I received from Discount Tire for the same set of tires. The issue was escalated to Mavis Headquarters, but unfortunately, a price match could still not be ********** a result, I ultimately purchased the same tires from Discount Tire at $40 less per tire, which resulted in significant savings overall.I appreciate the service from the Mavis team, but I hope that in the future, more flexible pricing options or price-matching policies can be considered to remain competitive.

      my car was toll to Mavis May 15, 2025; to have a tire replaced, I was quoted a total of $71 for the tire with the total being $94 with installation. I was told it would take 20 minutes once the car was on the thing where they change tire. A manager came i later and said the tire would be $91 plus $24 and proceed to add other number. I told him I asked for the cheapest tire, and he finally said the told would be $108. My tire stayed on the rise for 2 hours, i kept asking them what the problem was. The manager came by and said this car needs to be ready in the next 5 minutes. I waited another 30 minutes. Today, May 22, 2025 the tire is going flat due to not be completely on the rim. I am waiting on roadside assistance to fix it. I would like my money back. I have pictures and I want a refund.

      My wife took her car here two months ago to have the tires replaced. At the time, we had no issues with the service. Today, I'm trying to do some maintenance on the car. I'm trying to loosen the first with my breaker bar and can't get them loose. I pulled out my torque wrench to see what the lug nuts were set atover 150 ft pounds for each lug nut.

      on April 26 when my 2020 ***** XC-90 at a stop sign turned off. I had it towed to Brakes Plus The Colony (****************). They thought it was the starter. They told me I needed an oil change that it was 2000 miles from needing one then turned around and told me I was overdue by 3000 miles. I told them I had an oil change in October 2024 and that my oil light had not come on. I picked up the car just around 6 PM and they told me that my air conditioner needed freon. I told them that I didnt want it done. I barely left when the car completely stopped. It said 12V battery alarm need to return to store. he said it would be a simple thing of charging the battery. they tested the battery and said there was nothing wrong. They noticed the belt of the compressor had popped. They wanted me to believe that it was a coincidence that when I drove the car for a few seconds the compressor belt popped.The whole compressor needed to be changed and that it was the reason that the starter went out. I picked up my car on Wednesday. After they changed the oil that they said was dirty even though I had a change in October. They fixed the compressor and freon. I had stated that I could not afford except what was essential fixed. The bottom line is they forced me into doing all these repairs.On a call, the guy who answered asked if I had been called about my rear brakes needed to be changed. I no longer trusted anything. On my way home, I noticed loud noises every time I pressed the brakes- noises I had never heard till that day. The car again lit up saying engine coolant low.Again, I do not understand why it would light up only after it was at their store and it had never done that before.The noises on the brakes had me take the car Friday morning to the ********** branch when I understood that it was a safety hazard. At **********, they could not understand why my compressor needed to be replaced. I had changed the pads on 2/15/2023.

      Purchased a warranty program for a tire and heads up it is a prorated amount over the amount of life of the tire. Ordered a set of tires which was stated to be there in a specific day. Went in on said day and even though the inventory system stated the tires were in stock the tires were nowhere to be found. A 1 hour wait turned into a 4 hour appointment and a day waisted. Poor customer ********************** and bait and switch business practice.

      Poor quality and craftsmanship. Got an oil change, they stripped the drain plug and the oil drained. Took it back they ordered a new pan, then didnt use a gasket and did not properly reinstall 2 bolts for a bracket holding the ** compressor. Another shop found the one bolt fell out and the other hanging by a single thread, could have destroyed my ** system and fan belt. I cant trust any Mavis after this.

      My girlfriend took our car to this place about 1.25 years ago after we bought a new set of 4 tires. We had the worst experience. The car had a slight drift while driving which is why we went for an alignment because we wanted to ensure the new tires were off to a good start. After picking up the car, the alignment was so bad that we could almost make a full right turn without touching the steering wheel. We later found out from **** who argued with us for a while that their machine didnt have the right software or update to service this type of car ***** A5). He assured us that he could make it right and so we took the car back for them to fix. Fast forward to today, the right tire blew out and the left tire is so bald on the inside that it could have very well blown out as well.
