      I sent in books to sell to Blue Rocket Books on February 10, 2024 and confirmed received from Blu Rocket Books on February 15, 2024. I received an email from Patrick stating he would be deducting $20 from my quote for one of my books due to spine damage which I emailed back to say I was ok with that. He said all other books will paid as quoted. As of today 02/21/24 I agave not received payment of $168.39 and all emails are being sent back to me as undelivered. I just want my money for my books as promised.

      Hi This customer was paid the amount agreed upon on 2-21.  Once again a customer complains and once they get the money they do not update the complaint.   This hurts our business and we have done nothing wrong.   Per our Website Policy payments are made 5-7 days after receipt of the books.  In this case the package was received on 2-15 and a payment was made on 2-21.   We did email the customer as they stated and then paid them on that day. Thank you

      This company purchases books . They have a horrible reputation online but against better judgement I decided to go with them for the highest payout . I sent them 2 books totaling to $320 I only received payment for 1 book. Both books were received and signed for at the same time and date I have proof of signature. This company is unreachable providing false emails and phone numbers on all websites and social platforms. I will be pursuing this to the furthest extent the law this is not how you do business. I don't think anyone has bothered to sue them but I will be filing my case if I do not get correspondence and payment by EOD Fri 1/26/24.

      According to our records this customer was paid the quoted amount of $68.01 to the account ending in 4394 on 11-30.  This is another example of a complaint made but the customer was paid so they do not bother to come back to the BBB and say the complaint is rectified.   Blue Rocket Books has been in business since 2009 and has had over 196,000 successful transactions to date.    We are proud to have many diverse customers both large and small that utilize our services.   Many of our customers have been with us since inception.  We look forward to servicing our customers going forward.

      Gotten a quote for my book from the company on 12/11/23 for $46.24. Mailed the book out and have not had any updates. I’m unable to get into contact with them. The book I sent has been used once. Told that within 24hrs with express delivery half of it deducted my payment would be sent and yet havent recieved it. I would like to be paid for my book in full for $46.24 or they can send it back since at this point it would be false advertisment.

      Hi Thank you for your email.   We pay customers when we receive the package not when the order is shipped.  This is clearly stated on our Website.   We also notify our customers when we actually receive the package.   In this case the order was received on 12-14 and that is when the customer was paid.  Most times the customer is paid and then they do not bother to reach out to the BBB to tell them the complaint is resolved.   That is the case here.  Thank you******* *

      DO NOT USE: I sent in 2 books and was quoted a $37 payment. The vendor replied and said the books are not in good condition and stated that if I sent them $6.95 they would send the books back to me. I sent them $6.95 and the vendor decided to keep one of the books to resell WITHOUT MY CONSENT and after taking my $6.95. WEBSITE IS A SCAM!!! Note to Vendor: If you decide to give me my second book back, I'll take down this review.

      Hi  Thank you for your feedback.   We grade books per our Website policy and in this case the books failed our inspection.   We emailed the customer and offered to return the books for a $6.95 return shipping fee.   That is our standard fee and it is for 1 book or 5 books.  In this case ****** wanted both books returned and paid the $6.95 return shipping fee.   We returned one book and the other book was already donated.   In this case we paid ****** the original quoted amount.  So she received a check and the book is in transit.  We feel this is more than fair.  We have been in business since 2009 and never had someone complain for receiving the quoted amount for the book.   This has been our policy since day 1 and we will continue to either pay for the books or return them.  Thank you again Patrick

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The problem is not the fact that it costs 6.95 to send me 1 or 5 books. The problem is how shady you were when you said the book was “unacceptable” and refused to pay me for it. THEN after I said I wanted it back, you said okay we’ll pay you for it. So in short, you were hoping that by telling me it was “unacceptable” you could avoid paying me for it AND could sell it for profit. It’s a matter of principle and you all know what you tried to do. Those are bad business practices. Shame on you for trying to make a few extra bucks and screw people out of money. Your company is a scam and should be ashamed of itself for these poor practices.       I received a quote for a book from the company on 9/23/23 for $47.15. I mailed the book out and have not had any updates. All of the contact information on their site is shut down and I’m unable to get into contact with them. The book I sent had been used once. I would like to be paid for my book or they need to send it back since at this point, I would consider it stolen.

      I got an estimate on three college textbooks on 5/8/2023. I packed my shipment and used their prepaid label to send my books. *** tracking confirms the package was received by ******** on 5/15/2023. At 10AM. The website FAQs states 3-10 day response time for payment and 24-hour response time for email questions. I have received neither. They took my books and do not answer an of the communications. They are commiting fraud through the mail and theft. I got an estimate on three college textbooks on 5/8/2023.       I completed their form to send two textbooks to them. I used their prepaid *** shipping label. The books appear to have been delivered but no update from the merchant in 20 days. I have tried to message them on social media (no posts since 2016) and tried to email them -- but all their email accounts are shut down. Also -- their phone does not answer.

      I sent a textbook to sell blue rocket books and before I sent it I was quoted for an amount and given the directions of how to send it. After sending my package I got an *** tracking notification saying it had delivered. I never received any confirmation from blue rocket book or update on the progress. After looking at the help section on their website, it said payment is received 3-10 days after delivery. It is now past the 10 days after the delivery and I still haven’t received any payment of update on the progress. I emailed the given email address for help but I got a notification saying that the email didn’t exist. So I have no way of contacting.
