My former husband ****** ******** who Im separated from and on the verge of divorce from authorized a transaction of $1000 to my ****** account on Feb 15, 2025 & stated the reason to why he was sending the money. On February 17, 2025 I thanked him for sending me the money and he said u welcome not knowing that he filed a dispute that he didnt authorize the transaction. Thats a lie he did authorize the *************** have proof he did. He told that lie and the bank went in his favor, not hearing my side of the story with no confirming if he was telling the truth Now I have a balance of $998.72 that Im never going to pay & didnt ask for. I didnt ask for him to send me that thousand dollars I thought he sent me that thousand dollars to replace my clothes that his daughter threw out. ****** ******** has an account with ********************** and they determined the decision On the dispute Thats why Im reporting them. This is fraud, deception, and misleading. I will not allow nobody to mess up my credit nor allow a balance in my account that wasnt my fault to mess up any good thing I got going on in the future. I want this balance to be reversed back into his account. I want that $998.72 to be deleted off my account. ****** ******** lied about an unauthorized transaction and should be fined for it. Im sending the proof to amalgamated bank because I dont think ****** is sending in the proof to the bank ******************* lying about a transaction that he authorized. Starting 1/23 my mortgage account at ******************** started going into auto pay, I did sign a form changing my bank account at RCU in 12/22, but I missed the fact that it was on auto pay. I called Amalgamated bank in 1/23 to have autopay removed, they stated okay. Auto pay was still on in 2/23 and went out 2/3/23, I ended up making an extra payment thinking the problem was resolved on 2/16/23. I called Amalgamated in 2/23 and once again I was told issue resolved. Auto pay was still on and for 4/23 and 5/23. I made many calls to Amalgamated bank and each time I was told issue resolved. When I logged in it showed no pending payments, therefore I was confident that auto pay was off. All the over draft fees etc, caused me to fall behind on mortgage payments for 6/23, 7/23 8/23, and 9/23. I ended up taking money from my deferred compensation to catch up. I realize that the first month of 1/23 was my mistake, but 2/23, 4/23 and 5/23 was Amalgamated banks error for failing to remove auto pay as requested through many phone calls. This caused me to bounce checks and other payments. I would like to have my credit fixed for the late Amalgamated mortgage payments and reimbursed $1,172 for a fraction of overdraft fees, etc. Amalgamated has waived $236 in late fees.Business Response

We requested over a year ago to have additions of beneficiaries and signatories to the business bank account. We were assured that all was in-place. I am now told that the added signatory status is ''pending." This is a serious issue. We inquired many times about other issues pertaining to the bank accounts and have received no responses other than we will check on that. The desired resolution we selected is "finish the job." This means that we need the bank to complete whatever process. They need also start returning phone calls.Customer Answer

I called and emailed Amalgamated bank because UBER double charge me for a transaction. Initially, the issue was resolved with UBER via my Chase debit card. But Because I also have an Amalgamated bank card linked to my uber account, there was a charge of $149.99 taken out erroneously. When I called Amalgamated bank via the ************ number a representative told me to upload the information from UBER to their email and that they would investigate. I did as instructed. However, Amalgamated chooses to give me the runaround by continuously requesting information that I had previously provided. the only documentation I had were the emails and messages between uber and me and the copy of the chase statement to show all the transactions. I called 3 times. On the last call, a female representative told me that all the pertinent documents were received and that I should expect to see the refund in my account by Friday 6/10/22. As of this present time, no refund. I have emailed Amalgamated bank 4 times asking for a follow, finally after 4th request I received an email stating that they are still investigating and this will take 90 days. This was the worst customer service I have received and was told a lie. They are not doing their due diligence in resolving this matter. Uber had sent me an email stating that my bank is the one that needs to resolve this as they already resolved it on their end. I forward them that email also and again nothing. They are holding my money and refuse to resolve this matter. All I want and ask for the bank to ensure my money is returned to the account. $149.99Business Response
