I ordered a makeup after feeling worried because of not liking it etc. I looked at it for 3 mth. Finally ordered, it was too expensive honestly. But because I'm on social security and live in a HUD APT , I have to be very careful. I am extremely careful when not marking the continued sending every 6 wks or 2 mths, whatever it says. I just don't ever do that because I can't afford it. I also didn't know if I'd like it so wouldn't do that. Somehow, not because of me, but them, they took another $36.00 out of my account this week without me knowing and sent a box to me. I feel they had my info and just did it. I can't get into contact with them. The site doesnt go when I push on it. I feel cheated, lied to and much more. They took my rent. Im so tight in my account i can't do this. They said I marked the box but I know I did not. I checked a double checked to make sure everything was right. They did send me an email today saying it was my fault and I could look and see the order to press out but it won't take me there. I'm at their mercy and I feel because to them it's only 36. To me it's rent.. I had to go to my bank and stop my debit card which now I have the hassle of calling all my bills and redoing my debit card info.. why???Business Response

I ordered the fountain and I was okay with it not very impressed. I went back to offer the primer and then after the order was complete, there was an add on that i did not know where it came from so I immediately emailed them to do the order. I was emailed the next day saying oh sorry your order was shipped, can't stop it. Like what? It took 3=5 days for an order of one to ship, you're going to tell me you shipped it in less than 12 hours? Still haven't received a shipping confirmation. I am using voice texting so please bear with me. I placed an order on their website And used their fourteen day trial product use. I chose two products. The way this works is they send you the product and in their ********* states whatever items you send back you will not be charged for. Upon delivery I tried the products and neither of them worked for me. So I went to their portal and started a return as stated in their policy. Please keep in mind.I've had this product for only two hours out of the fourteen days. I chose to return the ice cream because it didn't work for me.And I chose an exchange for the foundation because I was hoping they would have another shade that would work that I could try. So in the return it asks you if you would like to use a coupon for a future order which I have a screenshot of. And I thought that's great.I'll choose that coupon so that if I like a product and I want them to charge me for it.I will use that coupon to buy something in the future. I clicked next and for the ice cream. It says return and you won't be charged, but for the foundation. It says that there is no option for exchange. So I emailed them and asked them to change the exchange to a return. They told me because I chose a coupon, My items are no longer eligible for return and that is in their policy, Which I looked over In depth over two days, And that is something that is one hundred percent not listed in their policy. Once I brought this up to them.After the email chained back and forth they stopped replying. I warned them that I would take action so here I am.Customer Answer

Il Makiage offers a try before you buy program that states, Try for 14 days! Your trial starts on the day the order was delivered. I purchased the product on 3/22/25, didnt receive it until 4/16/25 - should have until 4/30/25 to keep product or return without being charged on my credit card. I was charged the full amount of $71.54 on 4/20/25, four days after receiving it in the mail. Id like to return the product and get a full refund. Thank you for your assistance.Business Response

I decided to try a product that people were raving about on social media. When I went to the website, I saw that there was an option to subscribe and receive a product package on a routine basis. Seemed simple enough until I started receiving items I didnt want. So, I decided to unsubscribe. Little did I know there is no such thing. They sent a sorry to see you go gift codes to lure you back (which I never redeemed), but they did not respect my wishes. I reached to my credit card company, sent them proof and they are investigating this. I blocked them, got a new card and somehow they are still charging my card. I reached out to the merchant to no avail, this is a nightmare. No means no doesnt matter here and I feel trapped, disregarded and taken advantage of. I need this stop.about $500.Business Response

I made a purchase with this company back in January of 2024. I didnt realize I signed up for auto replenishment. I received an email that they were sending me more products. I emailed them and asked if I could cancel the order. I was told I could not but I could return the products. I have sent them multiple emails asking for a return label and they keep giving me the run around. I dont want to miss the return window but they also dont have a phone number on their website. Formal Complaint Against Il Makiage Unauthorized Charges and Unfair Refund Policy To whom it may concern,I am filing a formal complaint against Il Makiage due to an unauthorized charge, poor customer service, and unfair refund practices.On April 14, 2025, I placed an order through the Il Makiage website. The offer I accepted appeared to be a free trial where I would only pay for shipping. However, without my consent, the company charged my account ***** attempted to return the product, but Il Makiage is now asking me to return an item I purchased with my $100 gift card in order to issue a refund of only $71 to my original payment method. 4/11/2025 I got charged $39.87 for makeup I do not ******* December of 2024, they charged me $39.69 again for makeup I didn't want.I contact my bank to resolve this issue, the bank return the charge back to my account.The only way to contact this company is through email. Their response was zero. The phone number they have listed is a recording then it hangs up. their website does not have where you can cancel the account and have my information to delete I don't want to continue business with them. I have purchased in the past and like the products.That being said its been a year. I noticed a charge on my card from them and logged in. Someone had added multiple addresses in other states and placed 2 orders for a couple hundred dollars. I live in **. I notified the proteam by email and got a canned reply of 24/48 hrs wait. I called **** and stopped payment. Tried to cancel my account but cant. Removed the auto replenishment and my CC. Proteam replied that they reinstated my order and auto replenishment with CC like they arent reading my email at all. Ive emailed 4 times. I tried calling. Next will be notifying police.
