I am the beneficiary of a trust with *************** in ********** that uses ********************************************* to prepare the tax info I need to be able to file my personal taxes by the mandatory April 15th deadline. This is the 2nd year I have struggled to get that information. I didn't receive the info this year until 5 p.m. on the 14th of April. *************** says the fault lies with *********************************************. I contacted ********************************************* several times seeking a resolution, only to be hung up on by the receptionist ( *******?). I am trying to ensure this debacle doesn't occur again going forward, so would appreciate a response from Ernst and Young. If they feel this is not their fault, I need to know that. I invested in stock with an ********************************************* local agent. That agent is no longer there and I have been unable to get access to the stocks that I purchased. I have called various local offices and their corporate office and no one is able to help me.Business response

I have been trying to get my $1000 property settlement for an auto accident I was involved in from this company since July 28, 2022. I received a letter asking me to claim it. I did and mailed it the same day. I have called them every month since then. They tell me it is being processed and they give me a new date to expect the check or to call back the next month. I called them on 2/20/23 and spoke to ***, who said he would speak to his manager and call me back by 2/24/2023. I have not heard from them. They have had plenty of time to send me my money and they refuse to do so.Customer response

After fully paying for ** and international tax services, the company in question refuses to respond to any additional questions about their filings without additional payments. This company is solely responsible for creating all necessary tax document filings and still refuses to handle any questions about what they did, how they filed, or what the government wants to know about their work. Instead, every single step they require me to pay an additional fee for them to be accountable for their work. Having also worked with their direct competitors (***** ***, as examples) this service level is not acceptable as an industry standard.Business response
