    Their policy was clearly that they wouldn't move forward on anything without a call from me and a call to verify I agreed with settlement. I did not, they took it on there own behalf to move forward and start to pay off debts! I received a letter from the creditor that had a report of what was paid. And NONE of this was approved from me? So they didn't pay any of them off in full as from a logical standpoint, you start with the smallest pay off in full and repeat! This wasn't done, they paid small amounts to several. One of which I stated on there recorded line that I had no interest in resolution of there debt. Save your money and pick a better option! I have used others they kept there word and didn't just go ahead and spend your hard earned money as they saw fit! I needed the 2 k to move out of townhouse as I have a shattered leg from an accident and now am completely unable to use anything, but those crooks got there 25% and that's there only goal! I never authorized any payments, they claim since it met there 50% goal that they decided to move forward without authorization which is stealing! If you say I have to authorize which they acknowledge I didn't then how are they able to use my money for ANYTHING

    Problems with company using overseas lead generator which violates TCPA and DNC federal regulation. Received a call from a number which doesn't accept inbound calls on 3/19/2025, 7:18pm EST. It was a robocall which a recorded message I could qualify for debt relief. After pressing one I was greeted by an overseas call center claiming they were "Hardship debt Relief program". Gave him some of my details and he connected me with Waverly of United Debt. Waverly was kind enough to send me an email to ensure he really was from United Debt. When asked about lead generation methods he wasn't too sure. Would like United Debt to disclose the company used as they are responsible for sending out hundreds of thousands of illegal robocalls. I do have a recording available of the entire call available upon request (I live in a one part consent state ).

    The date that this took place was October 14, 2024 and the account number is ******. I was told that they were going to take all my debt and some letters out to my credit cards. Meanwhile, they had asked me to pay $233.86.Which I did I found out later on that none of the papers were received from many of my credit cards. I then contacted them and told them I want my money back since nothing was done and their reply is we did everything so were only gonna send you 140 891 so what Im requesting from them is the difference of $84.95 This place is scammers. They promised you stuff and they never do it. Please help me out and get my $84.95 back.Thank you, **** ******

    I was looking for a debt consolidation loan and United Settlement advised this was a better option. They take my payments automatically bi-weekly but I am not showing any changes on my listed debt. My account balance is a lot less than what I paid in to United Debt and I cant get a response from anyone on where the money Ive paid has gone. Also when I look at my dashboard it shows everything on a strategic hold, yet no one can explain what this means. I cant get any response from them. I dont know what to do now because they wont respond to me. I worked with a gentleman named **** who no longer takes my calls or responds to my emails.

    I do not think that united settlement is legal. I cannot create a log in to this site to see what is going on. I cannot see a transaction from this company only that they took money out of my account, I want my money refunded to me and stop the auto pay to them. I am notifying my bank to stop payment on this. I need to find out if this company is real or if it is a scam. They want me to pay 6 months before notifying anyone regarding my accounts and i am still receiving calls and such from my creditors. They also told me to put there name address and phone number in my accounts so they won't contact me. I need answers now . I want my money back.

    I am having an on going issue with united debt settlement. There is suppose to be money in my account. over 1000.00 I have no money in there. they are to help me with reducing my debt. I do not know what is going on as they do not call me or send me any information in the mail. I do not want them to send me anything in my e mail. I want everything mailed to me. They are not settling my accounts , so i should have money in there for them to work with the creditors. I had 3 creditors they were working with, now i see i only have one.     At first everything seemed great, their fairy tails of resolving my financial hardship was fantastic, *********** were on autopay and I never missed a payment, this was in June, then the first red flag, phone appointments, they knew I can only accept calls at noon pst and only have a half hr for the phone conference, so after about two weeks of receiving calls at the wrong time we finally got on the phone with a creditor, but they were a month off so we set a date to try again in a month. For weeks I got calls to set that conference almost every day when there's nothing that could be done for a month, why? I almost lost my job for returning to work late because of these calls, not cool, then the scheduled day comes around... nothing. Not a **** thing. Until a different account comes up and a settlement already agreed upon, I'm ecstatic! Month goes by I'm getting blown up"they haven't made the payment " " the company that you're working with is not paying as agreed, we need a payment" now that account is charged off. Still, I make my payments, why hasn't united settlement made the payments? Why? I don't want an excuse I want payment receipts immediately or I want a full refund! My credit score has tanked and I cannot afford to eat without having to donate plasma just to buy Ramin noodles yet I kept making payments and u.s. hasn't made one! So, I am closing my bank account, and will not make another payment UNLESS I am provided with proof that a payment has been made. If that is not supplied than I need a FULL refund because at this point its FRAUD and I don't believe I want to waste either of our time pursuing in court since I'm being threatened with court already because they arnt doing what im paying for! This is not okay to turn someone's life upside down by failing to hold true to your promised CONTRACT. Im about to loose alot due to your failures and im COMPLETELY unsatisfied and disgusted

     I had to reach out to the company who couldn't send any proof that payment has been made only the agreement that was made, now more accounts are charge off and my only option is to continue paying until a specific date when that account is supposedly to be payed off and see if it's actually been handled,  if they are just stealing my money than I will be contacting them with my own lawyer not only for the money stolen but also for the damage caused by the fraud, I truly hope they are actually doing as advertised however my faith has been shattered

    I had an MCA loan with ********* (Predatory Lender) and they were trying to get a judgment against me for a few missed payments. United Debt Settlement contacted me and said they would help me settle with ********* and I needed to pay them anywhere between $1500-$3000 a week. Well from January 23 through May 23 I deposited $21,093.80 into an account at **********************. They did not attempt to secure a settlement with *********. I did not agree or sign anything with United regarding a settlement . LCF came after me in May with a judgment so I had to settle with them myself with no help from United Debt Settlement. They did not help me whatsoever with LCF. So I cancelled service with United Debt Settlement. United Debt Settlement ended up taking (robbing me of) all of the money in my account ********** for their own fees (They did NOTHING FOR ME). They did not settle with LCF. If they did LCF wouldn't have come after me with the judgment. They did not help me with the settlement whatsoever. Again, I had to settle on my own, United still took $19586.80 from me and they did not send 1 ***** to LCF. There was 1 withdrawal back to myself $1507. ($21,093.80-$1507.00=$19,586.8) They made no payments to LCF. They took all the money as their administrative fees which cannot be legal. There's no way I owed them $19586.80 for doing nothing for me. I want my money back!!!

    On May 23, 2023, you engaged in a Stipulation of Settlement with LCF, coordinated by the attorney who was assigned to your file. This agreement required you to remit all payments to the **** According to LCF, there was a default on the stipulation agreement terms on September 22, 2023. Consequently, LCF obtained a judgment against you on October 17, 2023.It's crucial to note that by the time of this judgment, you had already been removed from the program, which occurred on May 23, 2023, due to inconsistent deposits.

    Nonetheless, we fulfilled our commitment to resolving the account, a process that incurs a service fee. There will be no refund at this time.

    As mentioned in our previous response, we handled the matter accordingly. The issue stemmed from breach of contract on your end. Feel free to give our team a call to review, but according to all notations on the account we followed protocol and referred your file to an attorney who successfully settled the matter. You did keep up with the terms of your agreement. We are not at fault here.

    Attached you will see the executed settlement agreement, signed by all parties. After thorough review of your account, your file was close due to inconsistent deposits, and excessive bounced payments. There was no way to support your file without you staying committed to the agreement. We even lowered your drafts to accommodate from $3,015.96 to $1,500.00 and you continued to bounce payments. Records show that you bounced 8 Consecutive Payments until the file was closed.

    I tried to get a mortgage to buy a house. We had a lump sum to put down. I got a call from this company. I was told that I wouldnt be able to ever get a place if I did not work with them. We were homeless, so I did. The customer service rep was named Primo. He talked to me three times. I was never able to contact him again.So I made upfront payments with the promise that my total credit **** would be resolved. And it would save me $200 a month if I worked with them. I made the payments. Keep in mind that we were still homeless. Three months go by. I was getting letters and calls from creditors. It broke my heart because I worked really hard to get my credit to where it was. I was never late. I was scared to check my score. I eventually had to. I needed to find a place to live. Most applications have a credit check involved. Three months of payments and being homeless with your credit score depleted is terrible. I notified the company and was refunded my payments. The thing is, they lied to me. ***** told me that I would not be able to get a place without working with them. After my refund, I tried to get in good graces with all the companies that I owed money to. There are two that I still cannot afford to pay on. Some of my cards were cancelled. Its months later since I signed with this company. My credit score is so low that I am immediately passed over when applying for a place. We are still homeless. On top of all the **** and my credit getting screwed, we are out over $30,000 for having to stay at hotels. We are broke now. Broke with damaged credit is not fun when looking for a place. They need to own up to this. They took complete advantage of someone who desperately needed a home. I found some information:************************************************************************** they did was illegal. I doubt anyone named ***** even worked there. They messed up my life

    I have more documents to download but can only submit the number that is allowed.  

    I am homeless, was homeless. I had money for a down payment for a loan. I was trying to get information on how to obtain a loan to buy a house. For some reason ***** from united settlement called me after I put my number into a spot for more info on lenders. I had no idea how they got my number considering it is something completely different. I talked with primo and tried to explain my situation. I mentioned that I was homeless. He said, well if you are homeless then you are in economic hardship. I said, I guess so. He then coerced me to sign up with their program. I was completely confused about everything. I knew that my credit was not that bad. 670ish. It is 540ish now which is more then 100 points less now.  I was told that they would eliminate my **** so a loan would be easier to obtain. I was told that I could not get one if I didnt do this. 

    As my score dwindled down and I had ignored paying my bills, I was getting nervous. I called and needed reassurance that this would work. I didnt so much care about getting a home loan considering I could just get an apartment. I was told to hold off payments to show the creditors that I was in economic hardship and then they could settle a deal. 
    The thing is, I was prepaying gif services that never happened. I cannot even get approved for an apartment because of my dropped credit score. In addition, I can not obtain a loan for a house. All my savings of $30,000 and even more money has paid for myself and my son to stay in a comfortable hotel because we are both sick and disabled. 

    I had to pay out lots of money to get back on track with the creditors. I have three left that I cannot budget to pay right now. So I paid for a service that pretty much ruined me whereas they promised that I could be helped. My credit score drop was never discussed on how far it would go. I would have never gone along with this. I called and was told that it would drop a bit but would improve immediately after the debts were settled. I did not even know that non of this was even a guarantee of getting my debts settled. 
    The way that this company handles business is completely wrong. I will not be happy until your terrible work is undone. You just took advantage of a hopeless disabled mother.

    We are truly acknowledging all of your concerns, but our hands are currently tied. In your statement you have mentioned that we have refunded your payments, which is correct. I apologize but you are putting complete blame on our company and making attacks on our agents who did not say what you said, and also making statements of legality when we followed protocol and compliance. 

    We apologize you find yourself in this situation. We in no way prevented you from buying your home, or book hotel rooms accumulating to $30,000 in receipts. 

    Thank You but again we have no funds or fees collected on your behalf. 

    Once again we apologize for all of this as our approach to for our clients to live productive lives.

    I made this complaint so that your company can own up to your negligence, false and need I remind you, unlawful practices. I was manipulated into believing that if I did not use your service that I would not be able to obtain a place to live.  
    I still cannot obtain a place to live due to the fact that my credit has been harmed so bad.
    The noted amount of money has now far exceeded the original amount of money that has been spent on hotel stays. My applications for housing have been rejected over 80 times due to damaged credit. 
    I stated that your company has also caused psychological damages.  
    Your company used unethical acts to have me hand over my credit so that some small amount of my debt would be eliminated. I actually paid for a promise that if I ruined my credit it would eventually help by doing so. I was literally told by your associate that I would not be able to obtain any housing otherwise. I paid money for a promise, not a service or anything otherwise. 
    You have stated that you apologize and refunded the money that I gave to you. But your company will not take responsibility to the fact that you have caused more harm then good. I still  cannot see a way out of this homelessness. It has been almost a year now.
    My son has become horribly affected by all of these things. His epilepsy is triggered by stress. His seizures are out of control.
    The accumulated amount of stress that I have experienced by trying to obtain a home, with now damaged credit,  is ongoing. This is all stress cause by a false promise from your company. There has also been a significant amount of money drained out of my bank accounts and even more credit debt has been amounting. This does not help my living situation. I could not find a way out of this. I tried to commit suicide and was hospitalized recently.

    On 02/16/2023 we entered into an agreement for debt settlement in the amount of $38,447.00 with the understanding of satisfying our obligation with ******* not lining your companies pockets, yet we continue to be charged enormous fees that have and are eating up the principal for payment and there is still no settlement. Looking into things because something is incorrect, we have been educated that it is illegal for any debt collection company in the U.S. offering debt settlement or reduction services via telephone which your company has done and continues to do with our company, charge any type of fees whatsoever before settling or reducing a customers debt. The company has charged our company fees for everything from administrative, enrollment, protection, and now a $5,767.05 Settlement Fee for a settlement which has not even occurred. The company is in clear violation of FTC Rules which took place on 10/27/2010 as you they knowingly and willfully ignore language written clear as day but operate outside of laws. We are asking our money be returned in full as the company broke the law and breached the contract on 02/21/2023 within minutes of receiving our first deposit charging an Admin Fee of $320.39 and another UPP Fee of $31.25 continuing to do so until this date. They are not even entitled to a 10% enrollment fee as contract is illegal by FTC rules which renders it null and void.

The debt you've asked us to resolve has been settled since the end of July, which is what allowed us to allocate some of the funds in your savings account towards our ********************** fees. If we have not reached a settlement with your enrolled accounts, we cannot keep our service cost for resolving that debt. Setting aside the fact that we've settled your debt, we have been more than successful at directly reducing your monthly payment amount towards this business debt as well. Without going into specifics, we can easily determine that our program has been saving you thousands of dollars a month when compared to your monthly payments prior to enrolling in our program.

    Regarding FTC Laws: The laws apply themselves differently between consumer and commercial debt. In your case, you had enrolled a business debt with our company which allows us to keep our service costs as per the current FTC guidelines. 

    Since this is still the fastest and cheapest way for your enrolled debts to be resolved, we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to complete this task and improve your financial stability. Please call us at ************ to discuss this further at your earliest convenience.

    When United Debt settlement approached me after 3 months, and told me they needed my approval for a settlerment, I then asked them to send me statement of the money they had already collected from me.   That's when I saw that out of $14,600K that they deducted from my account $12K, were fees.  And a settlement fee of $5,767.05.  That was odd because I never agreed to any settlement. Thats when I sent an email to this company and told them I was no longer interested in doing business with them. I have told ******************* twice over the phone and various times via email.

    I DO NOT wish to do business with these folks anymore, do not trust them.   How can you do businees with people you do not trust?

    I asked *************************** in the beginning about fees and he was very evasive, I should of seen that as a red flag.

    *************************** also wanted me to change my credit card processing for one of theirs.  Another red flag.

    I started getting messages about a month ago from ************************* asking me via text, if I wanted the service they were already providing.  These folks are parasites.  They live out of the misery of other folks.

    The answer they provided here seems they are copying it from some where. They always come back with the same answer.  Seems robotic, not personal at all.

    They are not treating me with respect

    I want my money back, want to stay far away from these people.  I will go to ******* myself and negotiate with them directly and apologize for engaging United Debt.
