    I purchased tickets to see Oh ****! on Broadway through the New York Theatre Guide website for the 8:30pm showing on 1/4/25. I used their ApplePay feature for checkout on 1/2/25 at 11:51 am. They charged me $866.00 and I was told the tickets would be emailed to me 24hrs prior to the event. On the day of the event, I recieved a text message from the vendor with a link for my order info. That link did not work, and brought me to their homepage instead. I had not received my tickets via email, and or via box office, and could not attend the show. I tried reaching out to their customer service multiple times that day via their chat option and their text prompt, and I was unable to get a hold of anyone and recieved zero help.When I finally heard back from them,after many emails later, on 1/11/25. They are claiming to have sent the tickets via email with no proof and or no order information. The representative named *****, is claiming they will not refund me, and or help me further. I would like file a complaint, as upon further research I have found many other people who have had this same issue, and I would like a refund from them. I believe this website and company to be a dishonest, and a potential scam for customers.

    I purchased two tickets for MJ the Musical for last Friday the 29th of November,24. I received an email confirmation saying I will get the tickets in my app on the morning of the show. (show was at 1 PM). At the box office, they couldn't retrieve the tickets from my app and we had no time before the show to wait for a response from Todaytix. I requested a resend of the tickets and that didn't work either. ********** employee also confirmed that my assigned seat as per my purchase were never mine and were sold to other people already. We had to buy new tickets to not miss the show, since we had travelled from out of town for this event. Two hours into the show, I received an email from Todaytix with scannable codes for seats that were not mine and were already occupied by other people. When I finally got through via email two days later, they offered potentially open-dating the tickets, if teh theater agrees with no guarantees. That's ridiculous since we paid twice now and have already seen the show. I requested a refund and they simply stopped communicating. Order number was ************* and I paid 358 USd for both tickets.

    Transaction: 11/15/24 Member of TodayTix app which provides lottery chances for discounted theater tickets. When you win you get a notice and click on the message it surprises you with a 5 minute timer countdown or you lose the opportunity. In their app, it doesnt provide all the details of the purchase, eg where the theater is located which burdens the purchaser to scramble and find info as well as enter cc info within that short window which I believe is a purposeful tactic to force the customer into a ***** decision where they are likely to make an error. This happened to me, I didnt realize the time was noon where most tickets are for the evening. I noticed this error post purchase and within 5 min and initiated a cancel on my order in their chat which was blanketly rejected due to policy even though the business has the time and ability to resell but chooses not to. These are deceptive business sales practices and I was looking for a refund of 30 dollars, price of two discounted tickets.

    On 9/11/2024 I Purchased 3 concert tickets for the 9/15/2024 ********* ****** Concert at ****** in ********** Charged to my credit card $75 The concert was cancelled. In writing via email to customer service, I requested a refund. ********************** is refusing to give me a refund.

    On 8/25/34, I bought tickets to a show, Hold On to Me, Darling, in *** through TodayTix as it advertised on instagram and I navigated there through the ad. I paid $389.99 after I bought ticket protection for an extra $20.99 because I was uncertain of my dates but thought if I had ticket protection I should be good. It said I could cancel and get a refund up to 24 hours before the show. So when I had the chance to look up the dates, I realized I couldnt go and cancelled my order. It has only provided a voucher (without any notice letting you know this is what happens) and customer service has been unreachable through email and chat and I cant find a phone number to call. This appears to be a straight up scam and I have learned my ****** about instagram ads.

    Was purchasing tickets on TodayTix and while payment was being processed it charged my bank account then it said it was having trouble processing and press to continue. I pressed and it charged me the second time and then again having trouble processing and press to continue. I stopped and checked my bank account and was charged twice but Today Tix never finished processing so I never received tickets or confirmation of purchase but it charged me twice without finishing the processing of purchase. I cannot get a hold of anyone in Today Tix.

    I bought gift certificates in 2018 and 2019. I have bought more gift certificates from the company when they were Goldstar, and I knew I would use them in a few years. However, first I lost my partner, then COVID hit the world. So I wasn't able to use them for a long time. Last year, I used it one and it worked. But when I tried to use another gift certificate, it didn't work. I emailed them asking what happened, but no reply. I mailed a letter in May, but so far, I was completely ignored. I have attached the letter to them, and i there, it has more information re: gift certificates.

    I purchased 2 Broadway show tickets to Stereophonic from TodayTix on 4/13/24 for $126. The tickets did mention that the view of the stage was partially blocked. When I arrived at the theatre for the performance on 5/6/24, the seats were 100% blocked. There was no view of the stage at all. I have requested a refund and have provided photos of the view from the seats. We left the show at intermission because we could not see anything. I have demanded a refund without success.

    I purchased theater tickets through Today's Tix and during this transaction I was asked if I wanted to purchase Ticket protection. I made a mistake and checked the box. There was no price associated with that option, nor was I shown what the price would be before I approved the transaction. No option to decline it either. It went directly to my credit card with no option to remove it, nor the price displayed. The transaction was done on 5/20/2024. Order number *************. I immediately contacted the organization and was promptly told that I have no recourse and that this portion isn't refundable. I plan on disputing the $14.50 they are charging me. This is totally unfair to the consumer. If they had displayed the price and then given an opportunity to remove the option, I would have done that. Bad practice on the part of this company. I know the amount of money seems small, but its more the sleaziness and lack of consumer recourse that concerns **** find it unacceptable.

    Location of Incident/Transaction: Online Date of Incident/Transaction: 11/9/2023 Name of Product or Service: Broadway Tickets Cost of Product or Service: $720.00 Method of Payment: Credit Complaint Description:Hello - TodayTix is a fraudulent online site that purposely programs their app to defraud the user that when you enter a calendar date for a desired show, it automatically redirects you to a different date than you intend to purchase your tickets and you don't even know it has happened until you have clicked 'purchase'. Initially I was looking for Back to the Future show on Saturday, November10th evening. I clicked on the date and I caught it the first time, that it automatically took me to the day after, November 11th, not the show I intended. I then tried again and clicked on November 10th and I thought I had everything correct, I purchased5ticket for 7pm on November 10th (we are from *********** and were only in town for that one weekend). With everything looking correct, I purchased the tickets and did not click the 'additional fee' for cancelation, especially since the show was the next day. Once I hit purchase for the $720, I received the confirmation for the NEXT WEEK - NOVEMBER 17TH AST 7PM. I immediately tried to reschedule my order but there was only a Chatbot who did not give me the option to change or refund the tickets. I know this site and it's programming is specifically programmed to defraud users out of non-refundable ticket purchases and they continue to get away with it. The business needs to be shut down immediately.
