Food is terrible. Not fresh at all. Tomato sauce tastes like sugar and starch. Sausage tasts like some kind of soy cake. I had to check to make sure if they're not giving me vegan sausage or sth. Onions were not fresh. Rissoto cheese was really bad too. Like **** ****** cardboard pizza chees. Not coming back.Review from Ian B

Absolutely terrible. Do not order from this place. After you choose your meals they change them on you and give you the same exact same meal as substitutes because they are overstocked and push the product onto their customers. After constantly asking them to fix the problem they refuse and after canceling the membership they still try to charge you!Crooked Company if I could give them 0 stars I would.Review from Whitney R

They are the worse company. We moved to a different state due to military orders but forgot to skip the meals, so they charged us ****** which I contacted them to refund and they won't. So I cancelled the subscription but if I didn't cancel it they would have in store credit. So now a new family will have free meals.Review from Kitty W

Their delivery contractor left a package outside apartment building in urban area, even though they had the building access code to delivery inside. They chose to ignore it, left it outside next to a bus stop at a busy intersection. Package stolen. Freshly said it was not their problem even though it was THEIR contractor. They said I should provide a door code next time (which I already did). Poor customer service. Meals not good enough to deal with it.Review from Josefina D

I placed an order for 6 meals at the beginning of August, and made sure I skipped all the weeks I was able to see on the screen. I did not like the food, or the price. On 9/7/22 late at night I see a charge on my card from Freshly for another 6 meals starting 9/12/22, I did not order, or wanted this order. I was not aware of the auto-renewal weeks, and that you had go online and skipped the weeks or canceled the subscription. I have been trying to cancel this delivery and for them to reverse the pending charge to the credit card to no vail, it's only excuses. I was never informed via email, text or call of the charge to my credit card and of the new delivery. They also claim that when I signed up, they inform me of the auto-renewal weeks, I am an older person and honestly do not recall that, I assumed that by skipping the weeks that I saw on the screen will suffice. These are misleading practices by this company. They promptly email when signing up but do nothing for further deliveries. Meanwhile, I placed a dispute with the bank regarding the almost $78 they are charging. I do have to admit there is good communication with the back and forth emails regarding the issue. I used freshly for 6 weeks. Food was good and easy to prepare. The reason I ordered from them was due to health reasons and convenience. My biggest pet peave is not receiving my orders on the day they were supposed to be delivered. This messes up scheduling for meals, and throws off my ability to use them successfully. In the 6 week period they delivered late on multiple occasions. This is not acceptable and when i contacted them all they can say is sorry. It made it a very easy decision to move on to another delivery service. Mind you they have the order locked in 5 days before so there should never be a problem getting the food to your door in a timely manner. I would not recommend freshly to anyone with these concerns.Review from Janet F

This company is run by thieves. I didn't finalize the order, I only logged in to see what their promotion was that they were sending me through the email. So I had to reactivate by pressing a button as I was curious to see what was on the menu. Still not impressed. I never finalized disorder and they charged my credit card and sent me an email telling me that I had food on the way that I never authorized. I canceled that subscription within minutes of reopening it, within minutes. I tried to remove my information from their website, I tried to remove my credit card information and it would not go away. They give you no way to dispute this online. I called them and the only way you can get through is by pressing one as if you're a new customer. If you press two it disconnects you. It's not my fault your business is failing, it's your fault freshly because you're providing lousy packaging, lousy food and lousy service. I am not interested, I just called them and told them to remove all of my information from their website or I'm getting a lawyer. They are thieves and charlatans and I hope that all of their ghost kitchens close down because their food is not worth it. Absolutely not worth it. I am so upset over this, I'm so tired of being stepped on by people like this. I hope they go under. Save yourself, run far run fast but don't deal with these people. What they call food I wouldn't feed to my dog! Thieves! They say they're refunding my credit card, I'll believe it when I see it. I will not stand for this. The nerve!Freshly Inc. Response
