    I have been using Hero for 5yrs now. I take several doses of medication every day. I dont miss doses since the Hero machine chimes when its time to take them and dispenses what I need. I tend to get busy and forget my meds. HERO keeps me on time for my medication so that they work for me as the Doctor intended.

    I've had it for years, but over the years better ones out there, machine puts out double medication a huge risk of overdose. ( like my morphine) They refuse to cancel, a hard process when you call them to send back. No label still.If you call for tech support it only there if you want to join You can't add more medication but the limited spots. If the person ignores the prompts, still don't take the medication. Mine has been unplugged for 8 months no phone call. Please do research, make sure this meets your need. For elderly, I do not recommend this. You can't program a second med if no slots or anything liquid where a few have this option. Please hero I need a label you refuse to send, but still take my money out of my account. You wont get a real customer service person trying to send back. No calls leaving messages. Its ok for those whom are mentally responsible, only need limited medication. Not made for travel or for those chronic illness.

    I had the device many years ago. I purchased it. When it died and they couldnt fix it, I moved on for some time. As my diabetes has gotten worse, I decided to try their lease model. I got the machine and tried to set it up. Immediately ran into account issues. I couldnt transfer the account to the new unit and instead got a genetic Something went wrong. Contact customer ********** I contacted customer service. I heard rumor of it being bad but I didnt know how bad. They apparently had a single remote worker who was on a horrible internet connection. The customer agent was basically incompetent and couldnt even answer basic questions. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she said none were available. So I asked to at least talk to someone else. She said no one else was available. When I asked how to fix the issue she said she didnt know. The so-called live chat is a joke. Its not a live chat. Its a messenger service. Thats it. And they dont even respond. In all reality; their 24/7 claim is a lie. Call, chat, whatever. The best I got was some woman on the line who was horrible at her job and obviously needed something better than the $25/month budget internet. This isnt a good sign. Their app has issues and is often slow. At times it just freezes trying to start. And their errors are horrifyingly bad. Im an IT professional of 30 years. Their app shouldnt be this complicated. It doesnt do that much. They need a better QA department.But here I am. I finally threw up my hands and created a new email just for it; which is annoying for me. And its up and running. But I have zero confidence in their dishonest claims about 24/7. What I see is a financially struggling company trying to keep going with overpriced subscription fees and Temu level of customer service. The leadership should be ashamed. The device is a great tool. But the company is mismanaged. And their 24/7 customer service is an outright lie.

    I have had this device since April 2021. Fast forward to September 2024 with over 3 years of membership and I cant cancel this membership and send back the Hero unit. I have tried leaving voicemails on the, emailing customer support, and even used their chat feature numerous times to no avail. I was able to chat with a representative from Hero health he stated I will create a ticket for the requested department and they will reach out to assist you with everything. That was September 23, 2024 and I havent heard anything since from Hero health. I started contacting Hero health to cancel my account and get a shipping label to send back the Hero device in early September. Now we are at the end of September, and October 2, 2024 Hero will be charging once again for subscription services. At first this company was great. They had fantastic customer support. Now no one answers the phones, emails, or chat. I do not recommend this service or this company. I cant even get ahold of anyone to cancel this subscription or send the hero device back.

    We'd like to clarify that multiple cancellation requests led to a duplication in our system, which unfortunately caused a delay in our response. However, the cancellation process for your device and membership was finalized within seven days.


    Additionally, we ensured that you would not be charged for the upcoming month, as your account was canceled prior to the next billing cycle. Furthermore, when we realized that the monthly subscription fee was becoming burdensome, we arranged a special 50% discount for nearly a year to help ease the cost.


    Once again, we apologize for the delayed response, but we are committed to doing our best to assist our customers and improve their overall experience.

    We have been using Hero since 2020 to help my disabled adult child have more independence. It has been a godsend giving him confidence and independence and me assurance and freedom. We have had an issue once, and the customer service representative was helpful and stayed on the phone until the problem was resolved. The app is easy to use, and the safety features give me peace of mind. It has been the best investment we have made for our son in a long time. I am so very grateful for the product and service.

    My machine only worked about 50% of the time. I began the process to return it in June and requested a box as that is what they said to do if I did not have the original box. I sent a second request for a box in July. A box never came. On August 12, a $1,600 charge appeared on my credit card. It took multiple attempts and a voicemail message left after being disconnected to speak to a human (they never called back). I was told then that the boxes are on back order and it would take 5 days for the charges to come off of my card. I let them know that was unacceptable and they needed to void the charge since it had just been made that day. The worst customer service and fraudulent business practices Ive experienced. Still waiting for someone to remedy this.

    NEVER-ENDING SUBSCRIPTION!Paid for my device for a year before finding out you do not get to keep the device after having paid $600! You have to keep paying every month for this dispenser under the guise of "24/7 customer support and a mobile app."The dispenser broke tablets left and right! Would not recommend this sneaky company to anyone! Sending mine back ASAP!

    I saw all the negative reviews and decided to leave my two cents.This machine has made a world of difference in my life! I got this for my mom, who has trouble managing her own medication. I was having to manage it myself and it was getting to be a real frustration. Then I found this machine and decided to give it a try. It has been a lifesaver and has taken the stress out of dealing with her medication! It gives her only what she needs, when she needs it. The app is easy to use.The only complaint I have is when the pills get low, sometimes the machine thinks its out when it still has a few left. That has caused an annoyance a couple of times, but I dont usually let it get that low anyway. Overall, I highly recommend this product. Just make sure you thoroughly read the website. It will give you the information you need. I see a lot of complaints that they didnt know they didnt own the machine. I knew that because I read their website.

    My credit card was initially charged $49.99 in July of 2021 this payment went unnoticed by me until I began seeing a charge for $29.99 repeatedly for a year. I couldn't resolve the issue with their customer service because I continued to get shuffled one way or the other. I was finally to tell a representative that I never purchased anything from Hero Health they insisted on telling me that I had purchased a pill dispenser and that I need to return it in order to cancel my subscription. I attempted to explain that I never received a dispenser nor did I ever subscribe for one. Eventually they canceled for about 2 months and then started charging me again at a new rate $30.99. I contacted them again and they insisted that I had to send them the dispenser which I did not ever receive before they could cancel. The next time I checked my credit card statement I was charged $1599 in March 2023. So, I have been dealing with this unresolved issue since July 2021.

    Based on the customer's report, we have waived their unreturned device fee, however, we did not refund any charges given that the member was outside of their risk free trial.

    Finally, without the member providing an identity theft police report given that their card was allegedly used in an unauthorized way we cannot refund any charges made.

    So after signing up for the Hero Health device and using it for a year. I could no longer afford the monthly subscription. Hero Health stated over the phone they intended to charge me ****** for the cancelation after the device had been returned within the 30 day return window. Now a year later I'm being sent to collections over the ******. Their return policy is on the website and it does not mention their intention to charge a cancelation fee. I would find another option for dispersing medications as this device isnt worth the cost and now headache.Stay clear of HERO Health!
