Emergency room section D. nurse ********* Mochi wrongfully treated my husband and lied regarding my interaction with her. She contacted security to have me removed for simply asking her who my husbands nurse is and because I requested that she NOT YELL at my husband when he was simply asking for help since there is no call bell and a nurse is the only one allowed to turn off the beeping machines! She was upset I asked her not to yell at my husband and said I dont have to deal with you and you dont have to be here and called security! I do have the RIGHT TO BE THERE FOR MY HUSBAND! the nurse also attempted to intimidate me while pacing back and forth infront of my husbands room and she was not the nurse assigned to his plan of care! Very Unprofessional and provoking ! The nurses job is to listen and be there for the patient and family members! not LIE! And abuse her privileges as a nurse . The nurse was flustered at all the other patients calling NURSE because there is NO CALL BELLS IN THE ROOMS THE REMOTE IS MISSING! Which I expressed to them as well! I took picture as proof I expressed my concerns to security and patient advocacy which agreed with me and allowed me to stay. Nurse ***** is wrong! Compliance of patient rooms not up to safety standards!

My husband a mini-stroke 6 months ago and is Neurologist suggested we take him to *** outpatient rehap center in Queens, **. Before I made the appointment I had *** check to see if would be covered by his insurance and they said it would be and and that it would only be a co-pay of ***** for each 30 minute session. A month later I received a bill for $710.00! I called the insurance company and they said that the *** billing department coded the bill incorrectly saying it was for a Hospital visit. These were for OUTPATIENT sessions only and we paid the copay after each session. My husband never was in an *** hospital. I called and ask to speak to a Supervisor and was told 5 times someone would call me but, no call. Now it's been 20 days and at least 10 calls later, and not only is the bill the same but that I have to wait another ***** days for this to be escalated and dealt with! This is not only outrageous and unprofessional, but has added unnecessary stress to an already stressful, painful time for me as a caretaker and for him as a patient. The ****************** is a complete mess and completely unprofessional! Though the therapists were great, I would never recommend *** if this is how the ****************** is run.No Patient should ever have to deal with this ongoing bureaucratic and financial nightmare when trying to recover from a major health event that has left patient and his family is an already dire state. This experience and left me with no faith in this establishment and I would never recommend theirs services as they haven't got a clue and their ****************** goes out of their way to overcharge and not take any accountability.

The nurses here have very nasty attitudes. Would not recommend visiting this hospital. Was told by multiple people to go to 3 different locations of the emergency room when my name was called. After the confusion was cleared up and I was in the correct location. I was then ignored for 3 and a half hours. No one came to see me or even acknowledged me for that matter. Everyone that works there seem to have a nasty disposition as if you are bothering them to do their jobs. First and last time visiting that horrible place.

Avoid this place. They will bill you as hospital visit for you physical checkup. I was billed for more than $700 for my regular checkup. Even after many phone calls to explain that it was a normal checkup, they still insisted on billing it as a hospital visit.

The staff are NOT doing their job at *** ***** ****** ***** ************ **. I should not have to call multiple times for referrals to be sent. Some (if not most or all) doctor offices will not schedule you an appointment until they have a referral (if your health insurance company request for you to have a referral). It is extremely difficult to even get an appointment these days with any doctor as it is! Also, I was told that a specialist I’m trying to see was not in network with my insurance. In fact, they actually are! I called my health insurance company to double check myself. I don’t believe they ever checked! And, the referrals were NEVER sent! Ridiculous!!!
