I paid loss and theft insurance for AppleCare+. I lost my phone and they wouldn't process my claim nor answer the phone calls, when they answer they just hang up the call when they don't have answers. AIG is finding ways to deny the claim. I never imagined AIG would be this deceiving and the customer care ******************** are trying to dodge the questions I asked. AIG is cheating and deceiving and scamming the customers and this was not expected from AIG insurance. AIG is taking advantage of helpless people. Why AIG has to be so evil.Customer response

In June 2021, I purchased a flight departing Toronto, ON to fly to Columbus, OH. I was flying to visit my grandmother who had been admitted to the hospital and was gravely ill. I purchased the ticket through Expedia and included the optional travel insurance (issued through AIG Insurance). The following day I was told that my grandmother's condition had worsened and that I needed to try and get down sooner in order to see her before she passed. I cancelled the original flight and rebooked for a flight leaving that day, including additional travel insurance. I had contacted Expedia about getting a refund for the original flight, but was told that I would need to file the refund through AIG since I had purchased their travel insurance policy. I filed the request for refund through AIG, and received an email back from AIG saying my policy filing was rejected because I had previous knowledge that I might need to cancel my flight. I responded to argue the rejection, but have been ignored.Customer response

I can't get a hold if this company. My grandfather has passed and I have been trying to even talk to some one at this company. The call service does not work. I have no email for them either. I need to get in contact with someone in that company for the insurance policy to be cashed outBusiness response

My name is **************** I would like to file a complaint against American General Life Insurance *** (also known as AIG) which I feel are attempting to engage in unscrupulous behavior. 7/19/21 10:38 a.m., my brother ************** contacted AIG and spoke to ***** to file a claim on our mom *********** life insurance policy, our mom passed away on 7/19/21. ***** was informed that he wasn't the beneficiary and they refused to provide him with addit'l info. He was confused as his and my name are listed as beneficiaries (************** as primary and **************** as contingent on policy ending in ****. I called AIG 7/19/21 12:44 p.m. to file a claim. They informed me that I'm not listed as the benef. I explained that ***** has a ltr. dated 4/18/2017 on policy ending in **** showing that he and I are listed as the benef. My sister *************** I. on policy **** called on 7/19/21 1:41 p.m. & spoke to ************ He informed *** that ***** ********* are listed as benf.
