      Sent jewelry to Worthyfew based on their website and emails. I sent a diamond engagement ring and a diamond wedding ring along with a tanzanite necklace, another ring with blue diamonds, along with some other pieces. In an email from them, they said that they got my package and would get an evaluation within a week. I then received an email from them that said that all my jewelry was fake and that they are were disposing all my jewelry in 14 days. I know for a fact that my wedding set and necklace are not fake because I purchased them from ***** ********. Now Worthyfew wants $50.00 to send me my jewelry back to me. Nothing was ever mentioned on their website or in the emails that I got about this fee. I feel that they are being dishonest about my jewelry and are keeping it by saying that it is fake.

      Worthyfew (*****************. Worthyfew HQ ********, **. *****) sent advertising materials To sell Your old or no longer wanted jewelry. Even included return shipping packaging. Very well done. This was for selling Your old or unwanted jewelry. On their web page they advertise BBB. Their name is almost the same as a highly rated ligatimat accredited BBB business. (Worthy) doing the very same service. Very easy to mistake as the same business. I sent my jewelry and never got a offer or response of any kind. They received my jewelry on 3-3-23. Tracking#**********************. I feel they purposely tried to and succeeded in fooling the customer with a like named reputable business. Isn't Impersonating another business against the law or at least fraudulent. I have had no response from this ** and fear I have lost all the jewelry I sent. I just want my jewelry back or reasonable payment. How can they use BBB on their web site?

      I sent this company expensive jewelry to sell. The value was over $1000 but my husband was critically ill and I was trying to get money for his care. I didnt hear from them for two months. Their brochure said I would get an offer within 72 hours. I emailed them on April 1st asking about my jewelry. They said they sent me a check and even sent me a copy of the check. It was for $24. Yes twenty four dollars!! I researched and found that I HAD received A check - but it had NO correspondence and it was from FTBJ Who is FTBJ? I had no idea who it was from. I took it to my bank to see if it was fraud. I never signed the back of the check. Their email said Cashing the check results in permanent sale! This is fraud - sending a bogus check with no information. They must do this to dupe their customers. $24 for over $1000 worth of jewelry is beyond wrong. I had no idea that the strange check in the mail was from them - there was absolutely no letter or statement about what the check was for. Thats why I took it to my bank to see if it was even a legitimate check. My husband had died by then and I was receiving things in the mail that were unfamiliar to me. I even asked this company for itemized documentation via email and they did not answer me. I want to file this complaint against them and let people know what they are doing! I wish I knew how to make them return my jewelry. I asked them in my email. They are deceiving and I feel like I was wronged.

      I am having an issue with the business Worthy Few. I recently sent them several pieces of my jewelry feeling like I was dealing with a legitimate business. They sent me notice of receipt of my jewelry and notice that they would be sending me a check as their offer for my jewelry. The check was for $42. This was an insult as several of my pieces had been appraised at well over $1800. in total. I sent the check back as that is the way you are supposed to decline their offer. They thought it is smart on their part to not enclose the return address but I had photos of everything from their address where the jewelry is shipped to and will as the address on the check which by the way doesn't include the zip code but I looked it up. None the less I not only sent the check back once but twice and I have yet to receive my jewelry back from them which is a breach of contract. This company is doing nothing more than stealing jewelry via the mail service. Please help me get my jewelry back or at least what it is genuinely worth. Thank you ***************************

      At this time, I have been contacted directly by Worthyfew regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      Worthy Few now has me communicating directly with the jeweler who appraised my jewelry so low. He is completely aware that I will not settle for anything less than me getting my jewelry back or the true value, not his ridiculous appraisal, for my jewelry. He has called three times trying to supposedly settle yet I would not accept his low ball offer of 350 dollars when my jewelry is worth close to ****. He attempted to claim all of the jewelry was old and wrote out. On the realistic side they are antiques and worth well over what he says. Again this company does nothing more that con people out of their jewelry and it's true value. Thank you, *******************;

      This company buys jewelry. I sent them a solid gold watch along with 2 other ************** items. They were supposed to make me an offer to accept or deny. Instead they mailed me a $35 check. I have sent multiple emails. They NEVER answers, they always make you leave a message. They finally emailed me and said to return the check and they would return my items. Their policy is to return the check and get my items back. I just want my items back! I don't know what else to do. I have threatened to call a lawyer but they just still ignore me. Please help me with this. I believe they are running a scam and ripping people off. I want my gold watches and gold ring back! $35 dollars?! Ha!

      On February of 2023, I sent 28 pieces of jewelry to Worthyfew, including my old wedding diamonds, tuquios rings and black onyx. They were to assess, send me an offer and I could deny it or accept the offer. This was to be done in 3 to 5 days. After weeks of not hearing anything, I inquired. Their response was an email that stated that all of my jewelry was counterfeit,(I guarantee you it was not) and by law they must destroy it. They also stated that they would not take this any further as they are sure i didn't mean to "dupe" them. I demanded they return my property, to which they said they would not, but I was welcome to send my drivers license in to them along with the receipts for my jewelry and they would reevaluate them, at a cost of course. This is quite the scheme they have going, and I wonder how many older folks are taken by them and fall for their scare tactics, like the whole counterfeit conversation, and send their personal info in and receipts so they have no proof at all ?

      I saw an add claiming theyvqould pay the highest price for jewelry so I sent 14k gold chain and a men's 10k nugget ring, after almost 2 weeks I emailed to ask that they return my jewelry because of the amount of time that it was taking for an offer, no response, I emailed again qith no response, then I recieved a $52 dollar check for close to $2000 in jewelry, with a post **** on the envelope of 3/10/23, I returned the check asking for my jewelry back and now recieved an email stating my jewelry wouldn't be returned, they have stolen expensive jewelry from me and refuse to send it back or pay me what it's worth, I want either my jewelry or a fair price

      This complaint is for Worthyfew jewelry. They advertise you send them your jewelry, they send you an offer, and return to you at their expense. I sent a large amount of real gold, diamond, onyx, gems and rare vintage jewelry left to me by my mother. Yes, I was naive to trust them, but reviews said trustworthy??? NOT! They sent me a email saying my jewelry was counterfeit!! All 200 pcs? No it was not! It also said they would destroy in 2 weeks! I have repeatedly called and emailed asking for a return of my precious jewelry. They wont even respond! This is theft, false advertising and taking advantage of a senior citizen! I need help before they continue to scam others out of money and/or their valuables! This is a scam! I saw their advertisement on ********* Please help ?? thank you

      I have not heard anything more from Worthyfew! The only response I have seen was a few weeks ago when they said my jewelry was counterfeit!! That is impossible! I had sent them over 100 pcs of my own real gold and diamond jewelry as well as my mothers fine vintage jewelry sets! I asked them for the contact information for the so called expert who they claim made this call? But they did not respond or send me any information about the expert responsible for the bizarre evaluation!! I saw others online who also experienced this betrayal. They took advantage of a senior citizen as well as stole all my precious jewelry! I feel so sad for even trusting them, but they made it sound real. I see on their website now , it says they are not taking any new customers! Why? Because someone is actually willing to reveal their scam!!! I wish I knew how to proceed? I want my valuables back!! Thank you for any help you can give me. Thank you, ***********************  ************ *********
