I ordered a pair of earrings from Julie Vos. When entering my card information, the website told me that they were unable to process the charge, I tried several more times, because I knew my card was right, and it gave me the same message. I adjusted the shipping address (even though it was not telling me it was a problem) and my card went through. When I checked my statement, I was charged 4 times for the transaction. After asking the bank, it is going to take 2 days for my money to be refunded. So they will have stolen 365 dollars from me for 2 days. I can't afford this. There needs to be some kind of disclaimer on their website, or they should be shut down!

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Look it is not enough for you to just apologize. You should not be allowed to hold on to a customers money for 72 hours when the payment was not authorized. This has to be illegal in some way. It is blasphemy that you are allowed to operate at all, you are STEALING from people. I still do not have my money back! I don't understand why you can't see why this is an issue and just keep apologizing. Also my shipment is delayed after paying for 2 day shipping this whole company is a SHAM.

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

    Sincerely,

    *************************

    Hi *******,

Thank you for following up with us.

The temporary authorization you noticed on your credit/debit card was automatically placed by your financial institution to verify the availability of funds for your order. The two initial attempts to place your order were unsuccessful, which resulted in these pending authorizations. However, these authorizations are not actual charges from Julie Vos and should have been removed by your bank.  Julie Vos does not control the pending authorizations that occur on your account.

We are happy to report that your order was successfully delivered on April 25th via UPS.  You may view confirmation of your delivered order here: **************************************************************************************************

Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks again for shopping with us.
