1 starI visited the store on ************ early yesterday afternoon. The doorman was EXTREMELY RUDE. I attempted to enter the store through the wrong entrance, unbeknownst to me. The doorman that was operating the exit yelled at me from the top of the stairs and said THIS IS THE EXIT! DONT COME OVER HERE. He has a VERY nasty, unwelcoming demeanor and I have no idea why a company as big as Tiffany and Co. would have someone like him working for them. Im very disappointed and cant believe he would speak to someone approaching the store in that manner. My family member then asked him where the entrance was and once again, he yelled AROUND THE CORNER! ON ************!. The doormans body language was so unpleasant and unprofessional, almost as if he was shooing us away. Due to how the flagship store is set up on fifth avenue, the exits can clearly be mistaken as entrances. There are no signs indicating where to enter the store. I was going in the store to make a purchase as a first time customer, but after that, I immediately went elsewhere and told all of my family/friends about what occurred. This company doesnt have to worry about me spending my hard earned money in any of their stores. Professionalism goes a long way and Im more than sure that doorman will run so many other people in *** away from the store with that attitude.Review fromAnn H

1 starTiffanys provides false advertising and deceptive sales regarding there products. Tiffany claims there product is made of Sterling Silver when in fact its only coded with Sterling Silver and is made of brass under. That is why when it tarnishes, you can see the gold tone underneath. As it gets more worn it becomes more impossible to polish out.Review fromSaba M

1 starMy mom bought me a necklace for my birthday from Tiffany & **** online store and paid over $1000 for it. The item was supposed to be real silver and gold, meaning that it should not get tarnished for a long time as it is real gold and real silver. I wore it for maybe an hour and I didn't wear it for sometime and left it in its box. About 6 months later, I decided to exchange it as I had barely touched it and was assuming that it would look good as new, and I went to ************* to do so. However, when the sales *** opened the box the necklace's silver and gold part had been tarnished. The sales *** rudely informed me that she would not take back this item as it was damaged, telling me that my skin's acidity probably damaged it. I wore this necklace for a very short time and did not even expose it to water or any chemicals. I expected much better quality from a renowned brand that I paid $1000+ for. This necklace obvious turned out to be a scam and I am unable to return it, exchange it, or even use it. I will never shop from Tiffany and ** again, and I will spread the word to anyone I know that this place is deceiving and tricking its customers! I recommend that no one shop from this store as well, as the quality is much worse than what is described on their website.Review fromMonique G

1 starTiffany & Co jewelry and accessories have been a key staple in my collection for decades. I am building a T&CO charm bracelet for my daughter that will tell the story of her life. I recently purchased a $350 charm for the bracelet as well as dropping multiple items for cleaning and service. My employer happened to be on the plaza and I asked if would be ok with stopping by the store and picking up my items. I did contact the store prior and gave them permission to release my items to my boss. My boss - a Vietnam Vet and managing partner at our law firm. When my boss entered the store, he was ignored and when someone did finally greet him they were less than pleasant when it was identified that he was there to pick up items and not to purchase items. When an associate did finally offer to assist, they gave him the bracelet back in only a blue jewelry bag. There was no box, no bow, no bag. The bracelet had a brand new charm on it and it would be reasonable to have at least asked if this was a gift. They also did not give him the rest of my items and when I called to complain to the manager, she offered to overnight them to my house. So basically her way of trying to "make things right" was to offer me a service that I always had the option of using from the start. I called the store, there was no "I am sorry, how can we make things right with you?". I called the corporate office, and was told that they would reach out to the local store and someone would contact me in order to "resolve the situation" and that my patronage was very important and that is not the impression they want to leave customers with. It has been 3 weeks, and nobody has reached out to me - insert shocked face. It would not be an exaggeration if I said that between myself and my immediate family that we have purchased easily 20K in T&Co items. I recommend that others do as we have and move your business to - literally anywhere else.Review fromDave K.

1 starOn 03/16/2024, my wife and I purchased a piece of jewelry from *******************. located at *********************************************************. After the payment was made for the purchase of the jewelry, the sales associate abruptly told us that the sale was final and that no return or exchange would be allowed. However, we knew that the jewelry that we purchased was a new regular-priced item and was not a final sale item. Also, even if the sale was final, they should have told us BEFORE the sale was made! As we were offended by the unprofessional business practice, we requested a manager to ask why the new regular-priced item was a final sale. Unfortunately, they made us wait over half an hour for the manager. Because the manager never showed up but was hiding behind a table, we politely asked another ******* employee to call the manager. Then we noticed that the same manager walked into a room hiding from our view and further wasted our time. As the manager kept hiding from us for no reason for an extended amount of time, we politely asked one of the security personnel for a manager on duty. Only then, the same manager reluctantly showed up with an extremely rude attitude and stated that "the item you purchased would be a final sale once you left the store but if you are not happy with it, you must return it RIGHT NOW before leaving the store!". As we were offended continuously in front of all the employees of the ******* store, we were forced to return the item and leave immediately as we did not want any further trouble. Before leaving the store, I politely asked the name of the manager but was refused with a smirk. The way the ************* store treated us was extremely rude and hostile. We even felt discrimination because we were told that the jewelry sale was a final exclusive to us (which was NOT a final sale item for other customers). This kind of malicious business practice discriminating against targeted people is illegal and a crime in *****************.Review fromHanna F

5 stars*******************************, director of Tiffany & Co. in *******, **, has shown unparalleled customer service. During a recent visit, I had an issue that he quickly resolved with his own personal involvement, and truly went above and beyond his role to assist me. Tiffany & Co. has set a remarkable standard for the jewelry industry and their employees show genuine care in a way I haven't seen before. I won't shop for jewelry anywhere else given the way they prioritize their customers.Review fromKelleena N

1 starLONG story short after over 6 weeks of time and over 3 mistakes back to back with the same item - Tiffany and ** admitted to ruining my charm bracelet and then proceeded to tell me upon re**gnizing they were at fault there was nothing they **uld do to fix their mistake. I asked for paperwork explaining they are not at fault if they break my piece and they **uld not provide me with that nor **uld they say if that were a policy or not. The male store manager was less than empathetic. They gave no solution to their mistake and shot everyone of mine down. All they **uld do was pass my frustration along in which I was told that sharing my feedback will also lead to a dead end. Not okay. Tiffany ruined my new charms I bought from them and are unwilling to make it it right.Review fromErnest B

1 starBe sure to purchase only one item at a time from them. Especially if its a gift and needs to arrive together. Their customer service agents arent much help thats if you ever reach one after holding on the line forever.Review fromPeter H

5 starsJust opened the box. The stud earrings look great. The prongs and details are perfect. Onetime an agent got me angry, they fired him. Other than that I never had problems buying diamonds from here. Very happy.
