I started to receive letters from attorneys notifying me that I had been named in a lawsuit with National Collegiate Student Loan Trust. I have never been contacted by them. I cannot find a phone number for them. I dont see them listed as one of my loan providers on the student loan website. They are threatening to garnish my wages when Ive never received any information from them.

National Collegiate Student Loan has a lean on my property because of a student loan my son took out 20 years ago and I co-signed for. He never repaid the debit and they placed a lean on my property without my knowledge of it. I never received any bills or notice of this happening. I only found out recently because I was refinancing my home due to having a stroke and I am unable to work at this time. I have tried and tried to contact them to find out how to repay the loan and they will not return any of my call. I don't know what to do?

I received a forwarded piece of mail and then another piece of mail saying that a judgement and then another judgement had been filed and granted against me for a debt. I received no notice of a court date and received no paperwork that the debt was even valid or was even within the statue to even be still collected. I have consolidated all of my student loans and this company is claiming that they are trying to collect loans. I am wanting to proof that they can even collect anything because I feel that they are past the time of collection and do not have a valid claim and they did not provide any proof that they are within the timeline to collect anything either. In the past when I did try to get lower payments they were very nasty and even claimed they would take my son's child support and would take any disability money if I got any and that there was nothing I could do about it. The statue of limitations for them to collect the debt is ten years for ******* and six for Washington which is where I currently reside. Based on these timelines the last year for them to have a claim for ******* would have been in 2019 and for Washington it would have been 2015. I am asking for this company to stop falsifying information and harassing me and to drop the false claims or provide valid documentation that they can collect something when all my loans were consolidated and I do not want to pay for something that the time frame has already passed and the company has used malicious tactics that are unlawful.

I had a loan over 20 years ago with National collegiate student loans. I am currently a graduate student, and I received a garnishment today from the loan. The address that they have listed is not correct and I have not lived there in 10 years. I called the law group that is garnishing my wages for national collegiate, and stated to them that I have not received any correspondence outside of what was sent to my employer today. They said that there is nothing that they can do and that there is nothing I can do to stop the garnishment of 25% of my wages.

I am not liable for this debt with National collegiate trust and do not have a contract with AES. They do not provide me with the original application like I asked.
