On 9/05/2024, the Minnesota Department of Commerce announced that it had reached a settlement with Reach Financial over allegations of unlicensed debt collection activity in that state. Reach Financial agreed to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $5,000, cease and desist from violating any laws, rules, or orders related to the duties and responsibilities entrusted to the Commissioner under Minnesota Statute Chapters 332, and pay all investigative costs in the amount of $528.75.
