I thought that the unwanted emails from The Epoch Times had ended. I actually got an email response from ***************** with my first BBB complaint attached saying my email wasn't in their system. And if I continued receiving emails to "send a screenshot of the most recent newsletter that you received. Please make sure that your email and the sender's email can be seen on your screenshot." Today I received another email from them with "This is a reminder that your request (#*******) is pending and is waiting for your response. We will send another reminder in one week. The Epoch Times **************** Team" The request # was a hyperlink which I did not click on, due to safe practices. The only request I've made is to remove me from their list, which they claim I'm not on!

I receive unsolicited emails from The Epoch Times and cannot seem to stop this. I have no wish to click on anything from them or to visit their website since I have absolutely no idea why I started receiving emails from them.

The Epoch Times News Emails appear in my inbox daily multiples times a day. I have unsubscribed at least three days and blocked the email to no avail. This has been going on for at least 6 months. Today I had ELEVEN emails over two days. Its ridiculous that I have requested multiple times to get this nonsense out and they are forcing their way into my private inbox.

      [Your Answer Here]

While I appreciate the Epoch Times response, I believe I noted in my complaint that I had attempted  to unsubscribe several times even though I had never actually subscribed to their newsletter.  Despite both unsubscribing and blocking their emails, I continued to be deluged with emails from them daily.   Frankly, I find their response both condescending and disingenuous. Interestingly, I have not received an email from them since Wednesday but I have little faith that will continue considering their response gave me no assurances they would no longer email me.  Until I have that in writing, I will consider this an open matter.  Thank you.

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I've been trying to cancel my subscription because I can't afford it anymore. (I like the publication but I'm on a fixed income now.) I've tried to cancel online but the website says I don't have a subscription with them - which is not true because they just billed my account $79.00 and send me 4 news update emails per day, which they would not do if I were not a subscriber.

I subscribed to their service for a trial period of 2 months for $1.00 The two months were up and I did not want their service - they send too many emails. I tried to find an online method of unsubscribing, but couldn't. I tried to phone but couldn't get through. So I let the credit card they keep trying to **** expire in an attempt to get them to stop. They make it so easy to subscribe online, but do NOT make it possible to unsubscribe online. I want to be unsubscribed immediately and not charged beyond the $1.00 trial fee that I paid. This is not buyer's remorse, it is a legitimate attempt to act in accordance with the agreement I made with them. I paid the dollar they asked for and I do not want their service, nor to be charged further. Not sure if this is impacting my credit score, but if it is, that needs to be fixed immediately.

CEASE AND DESIST IMMEDIATELY I have never heard of this spamming company before they started slamming me hard with racist, hateful garbage. I have unsubscribed at least 12 times in the last year. Sending hate mail and imposing racist propaganda should be a FELONY. Constantly harassing me IS a FELONY.

As of 5/16 I began receiving unsolicited emails from The Epoch Times. I never signed up to receive their emails and have no clue as to how they received my email. These unsolicited emails are unwanted and only make me distrust this source even more.
