**February 21, 2025 - requested secured card be closed online; expected $2000 refund and verified my mailing address **March 12, 2025 - called to inquire about my refund because I haven't received it, I was told that the check was requested on March 11, 2025, and to expect it any day. Suggested by Monday. verified my mailing address **March 19, 2025 - called again and was told that the check was mailed and to look for the payment any day. verified my mailing addess **March 25 - called again and expressed concerns about all information stating the refund would take 14 to 21 days and usually takes 14 days; however, I haven't received my refund 32 days after requesting the refund. I was told that it could take up to 8 weeks, which is the first time I've heard that timeline. I was then told that the refund was issued on March 17 and I should receive it any day. I've received emails that the bill is ready, the online account is reflecting a payment is due April 14, 2025. I am concerned that Opensky is trying to hold the funds to withhold annual fees that would become due in April. I've requested the refund in sufficient time and should have had it by now, but I'm continually being told different information with each call to customer service. I am upset by this because I attempted to make a split payment but the outdated website would not allow dual payments (2 separate bank accounts) and I was immediately charged a late fee. It's frustrating that this company can continually provide conflicting information without penalty.Initial Complaint

I closed my OpenSky account at the end of 2024. This was due to the inability to increase the secured credit line. The company did not close my account and instead retaliated leaving it open and creating a derogatory trade. This was an account secured by my own dollars and I owe nothing. The organization has employees that do not speak English well. Therefore, creating a language barrier. I want this account closed and zeroed out and put in good standing.Customer Answer

I opened up an Open sky account a couple of years ago and they do things that is not right just like they went in my account onthe beginning. I dont want it took $35 saying that that is a yearly fee yesterday yesterday my payment was due it slipped my mind to pay it so I called in this morning. They said they dont give ****** So sinceI forgot to make a payment yesterday that they gonna charge me another fee on my money money that I put $300 on this card. They havent gave a dime thats my money they get to collect fees off of my money they get to charge me late fees a yearly fee they have since I had this card they havent updated anything. They havent sent me my money back they said I have to close account and if I close the account they have to pay report it to the credit files and then my credit would be messed up. I gave open sky $200 for a secured credit card and was told I would get my card in the mail in 2 weeks back in April. After a month I called and asked for a replacement card since mine did not arrive and they said they were unable to send a new one. Shortly after this they tried to bill me for the annual bill and when I called and tried to cancel they were unable to do so and I still have no received my money back into my account. Two weeks ago just before thanksgiving I finally received the card in the mail and upon going to their site it showed my account had been cancelled, yet I still have not gotten any money back. All I want is for the card to be removed from my credit statement and if possible to get my money back but honestly I just assume the moneys gone since everyone seems to have trouble with this scam of a companyInitial Complaint

I.m file dispute against opensky on the pass due amount and unnecessary charges and request to change my due date 16th to 25th of each month **** to do payment on the account to bring it current....ASAP.
