    In May my wife called to cancel our pet insurance for our three dogs. Unfortunately due to prices going up we couldn't afford it. Now on June 14th our one dog wasn't canceled and was charged $50.59 on my credit card. On June 18th my wife emailed and got a response that 5-7 business days we would see a return; there is still no return. I am simple asking for a return and we have been patience enough. This was a s**** up on there end and was supposed to be fixed twice and now I'm done. I was hoping that I didn't have to go through BBB and write a bad review, but I am. Hope we resolve this.

    Dear *****************************:

    We are in receipt of your July 6, 2022, inquiry relative to the above-mentioned policy holder regarding her Accident and Illness Coverage (*********) for her dog. Per the Better Business Bureau direction, we have removed any reference that will personally identify our customer.  The pet ********************** policy is a personal lines property and casualty product filed under inland marine. Pet insurance products are underwritten by ************* Fire Insurance Company (NAIC *****). Pumpkin Insurance Services, **** is the producer responsible for offering the Pumpkin Pet Insurance program.

    The customer expressed concern regarding a refund due after cancellation, with a desired settlement of the refund being issued. Upon receipt of this inquiry, we performed a full account review including recorded phone calls and emails confirming the cancellation request was requested. We identified that the cancellation was already being processed, and have since refunded the customer for the mentioned charge. The refund was issued on 7/12/22 to the card on file. The customer's account is now closed.

    I had pet insurance with pumpkin and couldnt afford it any longer I told them that in or around march 14 th and again in may ***** **. I canceled the policy they kept trying to **** my card so I called them yesterday to cancel if again saying in response to an email that I still couldnt afford it. Today I was billed for three months all at once I called them again and asked for a refund since I no longer had them they said they couldnt because they didnt get my notice of cancellation I am filing this complaint because I am not paying for services not rendered. I hope this will help me in my case.

    Have been anticipating reimbursement for medical expenses incurred for my pet. Organization has not reimbursed expenses despite claiming to reimburse customers in several days. It has been 31 days since claim was submitted. Called 1 week prior to this notice and informed someone would reach out. No response from personal other than system generated email informing claim still under review without additional details.
