  Relateds housing policies are deeply flawed and discriminatory. Its clear that certain tenants are treated more favorably, while others, particularly those with disabilities or from marginalized groups, are left facing barriers and unfair treatment. The inconsistency in how policies are applied raises serious concerns about bias and unequal opportunities. Whether its the accessibility of units or the lack of reasonable accommodations, Related seems to prioritize some tenants over others, creating an environment that feels exclusionary. Its disappointing to see a company that should be fostering inclusivity instead reinforcing discrimination. If youre in need of fair housing, I would strongly caution against dealing with Related.

  I am a homeowner in ******* **************. ************************************ are behind my house. I've love my house, but my neighbors are loud, noisy and when I contact property manager nothing is done. I've called police several times and spoke with, recorded loud music and nothing is done. Related is terrible, and I feel they are not doing ANYTHING about their noisy residents. Worst property management ever and no consequences for bad behavior.

  The property that they own in *********, ***** did nothing but lie to me and steal my money. The property manager ******************************* and the other worker named ***************************** Did nothing but lie to me and avoid me for eight days before keeping my $250. ****** told me that if I did not qualify by myself, then I could add a co-applicant. When I should up on the eighth day, they told me that I was rejected, they would not give a reason, they would not let me add anyone else, and told me that I was out the money and that I had to deal with it. Over the course of the eight days, I attempted to reach out to them via email and phone over ten times, and not once did they ever call me back or communicate with me. When they were talking to behind me about what I had asked, I heard one of them say that they already had too many white people in the complex. When I left, I was talking to another person who had a similar but different experience. At the end of the day, they will lie or do whatever to get you to apply for an apartment so that they can get their money.

  I will post just a bit from the letters to ***************** & the lawsuit I have filed against Related: "Disabled, seniors being falsely accused & evicted from their affordable housing, so that the multi-billion dollar company, Related, is doing-so they can cover up poisoning us, bullying us , threatening *********evicting us.There is nowhere for us to go.I have included my court complaint, ***************** lists. Exposed to asbestos, silica dust & black mold. Months of being ignored, then bullied, then threatened. Living with no working elevators & no working a/c in a 15 story building,. Floods & leaks on a daily basis making apartments uninhabitable. Corrupt managment who bribes people to silence ************* those who fight back. Related has been fined millions in ******************** charges, citations, violations & more. This is their business model. They bury everyone who tries to expose their willful negligence that has harmed tenants permanently.This is cruel, terrifying & illegal. And yet Related continues to do this to tenants all over the country, in violation of city,state & federal laws, yet no one has stepped in to stop them.Related Companies has a long-established pattern of conduct, bribing, bullying, lying, threatening, witness tampering & intimidation against people who often, do not know how, or can't afford to fight back.They are a despicable, grotesque, phony group of people who have ignored the please of paying tenants-because they can.

  The complex is nice to live in, so long as you dont expect to be able to use any of the amenities or need any sort of maintenance done. I moved in 3.5 months ago. 2 weeks after I moved in my toilet broke. It wont flush the back is empty, I cannot use it. I have submitted 4 maintenance requests to get this fixed. Theyve ignored my requests. Then I called. And called. And called. It rings and rings until it goes to voicemail and says you cant leave a message because the voicemail isnt set up and then hangs up on you. So I email. They call me regarding my frustrated email but Im at work so I dont get it right away. I call back and no answer. Now not only is my toilet busted, all of the outlets are so loose that plugs just fall out from the ** blowing. Theres also a hole in my wall that has been there since I moved in as well as a stain on my ceiling. Not to mention the shelf in the kitchen cabinet that has been sitting in the cabinet instead of hung up. Maintenance finally came while I was at work after I threatened to call BBB and left a note on my door saying they couldnt come in because my dog was out. Now the issue here is - nowhere on the form does it say if you have pets they need to be crated. AND in my request I wrote the following one dog will be in the crate. The older dog will not be. He is very very very friendly and will probably follow you everywhere because he wants you to pet him so clearly they did not read my request. I put in a new request and Im assuming they put me at the end of the line, bottom of the list because that was 2 weeks ago now. Now to the fact that summer is almost over and the pools are still closed down for maintenance. You cant use the grill because its in the pool area and its closed. You cant use the gym outside the hours of 9-5 (which is when nearly everyone works) because the door is broken and they cant monitor who goes in. The dog park is a disgusting mess and the basketball court is awful.
