      I purchased a resume writing package for $349 dollars on September 23, 2022. That amount included a phone call and several professional documents. The phone call was 10 minutes and not informative. The documents I received were full of grammatical errors and sentence fragments. I went through 3 rounds of editing and the resume writer did not at all make the changes I requested. This has impacted my professional work and job search negatively. I asked for a refund from Zip job as their website guarantees satisfaction. I haven't received a response and would like a full refund for this terrible experience.

      I ordered a package with the company that came with a 60 day Interview guarantee. I got my resume and in 60 days did not have a single interview after many applications. They offered to rewrite it but basically changed the format/style. also, they sent the rewrite to topresume who did my previous resume that I thought was awful. They apparently are sister companies!! So here we are 90 days after the rewrite and not one single Interview. I started sharing my resume with 3 HR friends and they said it was awful and needed work. No wonder I dont have Interviews. I emailed the company 3 times in the past month and no one has responded to me.

      I ordered a professional rewrite of both my resume, linkedin profile, and a cover letter. When I received the first draft, I was disappointed. The grammar was terrible and it looked as though it had been written by someone who was flipping through a thesaurus with little knowledge of how to actually write at all. It was stressed that the whole process would take place via email.Of course, you were welcome to talk to the writer on the phone.. for a fee. This write cost about $200 that I didn't have, to the point that I needed to use a payment plan. But I figured it was an investment in my future. I was so frustrated at the fact that every edit came back worse than the last. I would ask specific questions in the notes, for feedback on suggestions I was making.. because Zipjob claimed this person was an expert in my desired field. Not once did the writer answer those questions. They simply tacked on the suggestion to the tail end of whatever they had written to begin with, regardless of if the sentence made any sense. I wondered if this was a joke, if the person writing was actually just a poorly trained AI. They were so bad, I wanted to wait until my day off to sit down and pick them apart. I got an email from the writer letting me know that projects normally only run for a week, and then gave me a deadline, after which they said the project would be assumed "satisfactory and closed." I used my lunch break that day to try to salvage what I could. I was trusting that even though it sounded really strange, that maybe my resume would make it past the auto filter and I'd actually get an interview. I shared the resume with friends, and they flat out said that they hoped it didn't get to a recruiter, because it sounded like a child had written it.They offered another writer, and a phone consult for a "most discounted" fee. I feel like I just threw $200 into a fire. That would have been more satisying and beneficial to my career. This company is a scam.

      The business only offered a 30% refund after I mentioned legal action. While I did accept the 30% refund, it should be noted that they only did so after I repeatedly expressed frustration about the quality of the service and was tired of the back and forth with them. 

      Is this legal? Probably. Because their TOS states that anyone using the service is complying to their no refund policy. 

       Is it ethical? Not even a little bit. 

      This should have resulted in a 100% refund after I explained the situation and understandable lack of confidence in allowing them to find another writer to do the task. 

      Strong arming someone until they're so sick of arguing with you that they accept far less than what it rightfully owed is abysmal.

      I purchased the service of a resume rewrite and a new cover letter. The writer sent back my same resume, minus my current and most recent/relevant job and role, and with worse formatting and errors. The grammatical and spelling errors, along with the terrible format meant the "updated" version was worse than what I started with. I completed the 30 minute questionnaire and sent links of a job description of my current position along with a detailed file outlining my most recent experience. Either the writer didn't read any of this, or was unprepared to include the information in my resume. The file was prepared quickly, within hours of my submission, and it shows. I literally got a worse version I what I sent them. I am beyond disappointed and feel like a fool for falling for such a scam.I want a refund. I reached out to customer service who agreed the resume provided was not correct but they've declined to offer a refund and are instead asking me to re-write the version they provided as a "revision". Don't ever use this service - terrible product and even more terrible customer service.

      Yesterday, May 26, I purchased the service of a resume rewrite and a new cover letter. I sent in my most recent resume, minus my current position as I have not updated it. Hence the reason I wanted a writers advice. They sent the same thing back, minus my current and most recent/relevant job and role. Apparently ***** read this or any of my numerous points of what I wanted captured in this resume. They said it could take 7 business days, it took one. Its no surprise as I literally got a worse version I what I sent them.They need to hire professional writers, I guess I got the intern or bosses daughter. I assumed writes could read, well here if they can they certainly do not! She was quick and clearly did nothing. Please never make my mistake and think they can improve anything. I am beyond disappointed and feel like a fool for falling for such a scam.I want a refund. I can't even use this resume as it does not have anything about what I currently do! I was shocked and just appalled they can sleep at night charging for doing less work then I did om the questionnaire.

      Transaction date 2/15/2022 Paid $199 to Zip job for assistance writing resume, cover letter, and linkedin profile.The project was supposed to be completed in 1 week, with 2 revisions, and guarantees are made to secure a certain number of interviews within 60 days. As noted above, the quality of the work received was terrible. After 4 revisions, the work continued to fall short of a reasonable standard. Cover Letter and LInkedin profile were also so bad, there was no hope of improvement. I expressed my concerns no less than 10x and requested a refund so I could go have this work done elsewhere. We are now more than a month past when the final work was to be completed. They have offered me a 30% refund OR to connect them with another writer. I objected as I do not feel 0% work merits 70% payment and I do not have time to go through this process all over again for the same negative result.

      I did not use zipjobs services and they refuse to refund me. They follow up with excuses on my refund. They suggest me using it later or for someone else. The support number is intentionally set up so no one answers your calls and it goes straight to voicemail. They have a number that rings 1-2 times and then a voicemail. This way they don't have to take angry customers calls and can screen who to call back. It's basically a joke answering machine. They also have fake high reviews on their website, when there's not even a section to add a review yourself.

      I did attempt to make a purchase with Zipjob for professional resume services the charge came back not process error on their website. After the dialogue with their company notice they were unprofessional I informed them what occur therefore do not resubmit the charge I did not want their services, it was fraud. They persist in telling me all sales were final no refunds. They fraudulent charge me after speaking with a woman name **** asked for supervisor she refused to put on. This company is fraud this all occurred within 24 hours I never received the service nor want a approve the charge.They refused any remedy I contact my credit for resolution of their fraudulent action.

      I ordered the premium bundle which comes with a professional rewrite warranty. I have received numerous rewrite copies and received an email admitting the formatting was not correct but still have yet to see an actual professional catchy version as requested. They keep acting like they dont know what Im talking about and asking me what it should look like and refuse to just issue a refund on the resume after multiple requests. I dont even want a full refund as the thank you letter is ok, but this is in no way a premium service and totally leaves me feeling ripped off.
