If you just found out about June Homes and you think it sounds too good to be trueit is. In the eight months of living in one of their apartments, which is located in a building filled with drug addicts, we have gone through issues nonstop. Roaches are consistent and were living in our fridge. Took June 3 weeks to get that fixed, but that didnt fix the problem of the actual ***** infiltration that permeated the premise. After explaining to them that their monthly bug treatments were doing nothing, they tried to put the blame on us by saying that we are not clean enough. They have yet to stop by our apartment to verify this claim. They are in direct violation of *** law by not treating the pest problem, but could care less. Next there was a sewage leak in the lobby that took FIVE days to clean up. Door alarms are always going off throughout the night because people buying drugs are coming in and out of the building using emergency exits. When you reach out to June, they tell you to call a number that isnt responsive, so no one ever turns them off. Youre better off fixing plumbing issues yourself unless you want to be without a shower for two weeks. Best of all, when our door lock was broken to our apartment, it took over a week for them to fix it meaning that anyone could just walk right in. Think any of this would justify terminating a lease early? No way. We cant even get a credit for one month worth of rent. Dont be fooled by any 5 star reviews, theyre incentives based. This company operates a ponzi scheme by selling individual leases per room, instead of the entire apartment itself, which is also illegal under *** law.
