I placed an order for new tires thru Tire Agent and upon delivery I noticed that they sent the incorrect tire size for my car. After calling about the matter I was told that I would have to pay to get return shipping papers to be able to send the tires back. I don't feel I should have to pay almost $200 to make a return when I was not at fault for why the wrong size was sent.Business Response

You placed an order on April 13, 2023, using your vehicle information, a 2014 Dodge Challenger SXT. Based on our initial conversation when I called on May 22, 2023, after review we found that your vehicle was manufactured with more than one possible tire size, 235/55/18 and 245/45/20. We do apologize if there was any confusion however, Tire Agent has no way to know what tire size your vehicle came with only the options provided by the manufacturer. We agreed that you ordered the wrong size and you received 235/55/18s when you need 245/45/20s. Tire Agent provides free shipping when the order is placed and while we do not cover the cost of return shipping on orders where the customer ordered the wrong size, we appreciate you giving ** the chance to help you with the return cost. I placed my original order for tires and wheels on April 19th. I ordered 4 ********************* tires, 4 rims, 4 TMPS and an install kit. Per the website orders are fulfilled 1 hour after ordering..Again I ordered on April 19 but the order was not confirmed until April 20. I had requested to change the shipping address because I did not know that the wheels and rims would come separate. I agreed with the customer service ******************** that yes it may be too late to cancel or change the address which I was ok. Per the website, tracking information is provided; NEVER RECEIVED TRACKING NUMBER on website and when I would chat with representatives, they could not provide me with tracking information. One random day I had a set of tires in my yard. Still no tracking information and I received the wheels. The wheels were damaged. Scratched and appeared to be preowned. After several email correspondences and having to prove that I had a defective product I finally got a shipping label to return 2 of the 4 wheels. Once I got all of my order (and I already started paying for my order) I went to install and the lug nuts dont fit!! The **** a was not preprogrammed. I cant get customer service to help and their logistics team only communicates by email. Its been nothing but a nightmare to deal with this company. I am requesting for a credit or refund for **** due to false advertisement and whatever else the BBB can do to stop this company from failing their customersBusiness Response

I bought a set of wheels from this company(rims) and 1 out of the 4 was damaged i contacted them about the issue and now getting a run around i was asked for pics from 1 person and then again from anorher the next day after beign ignorned and last i heard was days ago stating it would be next business day that they would let me know the nezmxt step ,well next step should be send me an undamaged product but today i am beign ignored with no reply againBusiness Response

March 4 of this year I went on tire agent and ordered tires through uown leasing . A week goes by no confirmation on shipment or anything so I call . I ordered these tires for my wife ********************* so they are under her name but my contact info . I called a week later and they said it looks like it was incomplete so they called uown and said that I didnt have a account open with tire agent so I called uown and they told me in fact that I did and that I had already made my first payment with them and that uown had already paid for tires and I should of had them in possession (first payment on product arrival ) which didnt happen . So tire agent said theyd prioritize the ticket . A week later I call still no update tell me the same thing they told me last time still no update and we are escalating this ticket as priority and we will manually push the order through and sent them all the documentation from uown stating I had a active current lease and should have my tires . So from march 14-current I have called everyday with the same excuse we are still working on it ************* is still working on it weve had 5 people review your ticket and we are still working on it . Its been almost over a month I still have no tires no answers and Ive already paid for the tires . This is ridiculous and I hope to god something gets done about this . My wife needs these tires to get back and forth to work thank god I have a spare car but moral of the story is I want the tires that Ive paid for .Business Response

I have order a set of 4 tires my car and my car has different tires on the front and the back. I have placed the order on 03/24/2023 and when I checked out for the 4 tires the checkout page showed 2-4 Days ********** Delivery however they are Business day so my ETA got changed to 03/30/2023. Later the out the 4 tires only 1 got delivered on 3/30 and 3 others were delayed to 3/31. TireAgent said that they do not have any control over delays on the ***** which is fine since it is one day. Upon receiving the tires on 3/31, I noticed that they sent me different model from same brand for my rear tires. I reached out to them, they asked me to fill a form and they said some one from their team will reach out to me in 2 Business days and god knows when I will be getting the replaced tires as the customer Assistance team is saying we can't provide any ETA on these replacements. In the whole process I have to get a rental car as my old tire was not in a drivable condition. The customer service team is not even willing to help me out to expedite the process.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me because even though the issue is on their side (shipping wrong item) I have to wait for them to review and schedule a pick up and until ***** picks up the wrong tires, they are not shipping the right tires. I have to wait over two weeks to finally get the correct tires.

I went into Tire Agents website and selected the make, modal, and year of my vehicle which automatically populates the correct sizes for my vehicle. I specifically selected 255/65 R17 and after getting my purchased financed the tires were shipped to a local shop in my area. When they arrived, the wrong tire sizes were sent. The customer support keeps claiming that I must have manually input the wrong tire size (which is not possible on their website). Now they want to charge me a $100 return fee for THEIR oversight. I am asking that the fee be completely waived when I send the tires back and get a complete refund on this purchase.Business Response

Good day, let me start on 2/10/23 i placed an order of two tires that was approved for payment plan on 2/18/23 i sign e doc of payment thru uown lease and being processes no email of tires being shipped with tracking info. On 2/28/23 i get call from uown lease that i could get payment of contract on tires thru tire agent .I stated that i haven't received tires.So i contacted tire agent they said i was delivered on 22 23 thru fedx so investigation was open for misdelivery case so fedx said it was no contact just picture of tire out in the open without ringing the house bell , On that day i arrived from work at ************************** on the 28th i asked neighbors no one knew anything so who stole them . they totally didn't care the drive did not ring bell. But for a small supplement they ring bell after the fact i made complaint the driver delivertly held the bell for a long time every other delivery service mailman ring bell for packages always but expensive tires they didn't now what im suppose to due my rights non they trying to rub me off please help ...Business Response

A claim was filed with ***** for the mis-delivery of your order as requested, however Fed ex confirmed that your order was successfully delivered to your address. We have reviewed your order and the picture provided by ***** shows the 2 tires delivered by your front door. We also verified online that the pictures match your address. We apologized if the items were stolen from your property after they got delivered. We recommend to file for a police report and try to file a claim to your homeowner's or renter insurance.

I am an **************** cardholder and had an offer through Amex that offered a promotional discount with tireagent.com if I placed the order through their website and of course use my Amex card to make the purchase. I placed the first order on 03/07/23 and was sent an email on 03/10/23 stating that my order was canceled per my request which I never requested. I called customer support to question why my order was canceled but was only told that their internal credit card processors denied my card. I was encouraged to use another form of payment other than Amex but if I did that then I wouldn't be able to use the promotional discount. I went back and forth between Tire Agent and Amex to try and resolve this but have gotten nowhere. I had never even heard of Tire Agent until I saw the offer on my Amex app and since I need a set of tires, I tried them out. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my Amex card/account and I believe the only reason for not taking my Amex payment is so they won't have to honor the discount. I asked for a written explanation from Tire Agent but no one has even bothered to respond to me. I tried three times to place an order and although all three were approved by ****, they were denied by Tire Agent.Business Response

I went on the tire agent website and input my vehicle they gave me the "correct " tire size for my vehicle I order the tires they arrived when they arrived the insraller advise me they was the wrong size tires that my vehicle comes with 2 different sizes and that because they are a tire website they should know that ... I did not know that and thinkng the website would tell me the correct informaton didnt question it .. after trying to return the tires i was hit with a ****** reutrn fee .. I chatted with a cvery rude agent who told me even though i did wat the website asked me to do i should have called to inquire about my tires .. and there is nothing they can do about the fee... but gave me a 25 % off credit... as a consumer this is wrong ... i should nt haveto pay for a return fee when i order exactly what the website told me to do ..Business Response
