5 starsCity MD saved me! I got an infection when my doctor was on vacation and so was his covering doctor. I went to the ** where they cut a rather large abscess open and drained it. They referred me to a breast surgeon whose office turned out to be closed for the 3 day holiday! I went home but knew I needed daily changes of wound care, but I didn't know where to go. I decided to go to City MD at West 88th St. and see if they could do it. They did do it, and I went there every day for 4 days. The doctors were upset that they were being asked to do something they don't often do, but they did it. One doctor told me he would get a referral for a wound care nurse to come to my house daily to change the dressing. Meanwhile, my doctor had returned from vacation, changed the dressing, and said he ordered a wound care nurse as well. I noticed that someone had left me a voiicemail that I had missed, and I realized that it was from City MD, askinng me to return their call. When I did so, they told me that my City MD doctor had arranged for the wound care nurse! I was surprised and pleased that an ****************** had actually pursued follow-up care for me! It was all arranged right on the phone with me and the City MD person and the wound care person right on the phone! I am so grateful to City MD for not letting me fall through the cracks! They get 5 stars from me!CityMD

1 starThe front desk need more customers service training. I find them very impersonal, unprofessional, and detached from the people being registered.my perception is that we are more of an annoyance to them. I would give a zero star, but the medical assistant was the only one I was impressed with.CityMD

1 starI went to City MD 14 st for a doctor visit. I am being charged for $300 when I have insurance and my copay is $50. They said my insurance is not covering the visit because theres a billing code issue. They are unable to get money from the insurance so they try to pressure me to pay it. I have spent the last year trying to have this resolved and now they are sending a final notice threatening me with their collection agency.CityMD

1 starI visited CityMD in Park Slope on 2/23/2023, exhausted and in excruciating pain, after having been up all night suffering with a UTI. When the doctor came in to give me the results of my testing, he was clipped and sarcastic. I had never been diagnosed with a UTI, and so I had a lot of questions, which he did not allow me to ask as he was already halfway out the door. Desperately seeking relief, I asked if he could at least approximate when the antibiotics he prescribed to me might be able to alleviate my symptoms. He replied, I dont know, I left my crystal **** at home. You will not find a caring team here, unfortunately.CityMD

1 starCharging $250 for a covid 19 test that should cost $125 *** is robbery at its finest. Also, charging someone 1 year later is ludicrous. Dont try to call because no one will pick up. If you email theyll tell you to talk to the insurer, who didnt charge you. STAY AWAY From CityMD.CityMD

1 starI went to City MD in the Bronx, ******* with general Flu symptoms. The doctor asked me if I had allergies and I said NO. She asked me if I was coughing and I said NO.Guess what: she filled my prescription with medications for cough and allergy. This is not the first time I have been disappointed at CityMD. For the medication: they must be getting $ out of all the pharmacy's profits. In this country healthcare is a business aiming for profits.CityMD

1 starTHEY DESERVE ZERO STARS! I visited ************** on Jun 9, 2020 for a Covid-19 ANTIBODY Test, which is supposed to be fully covered by the ******************* Yet, about two years later on July 3, 2022 I receive a bill from CITYMD stating I owe them two hundred dollars. CITYMD submitted a bill to my insurance carrier ****** ***** in the amount of three hundred dollars. ****** ***** reimbursed them in the amount of one hundred dollars. Thus they are asking me to pay the balance of two hundred dollars according to them. I have contacted my insurance company and they state they are filing an appeal. CITYMD has sent me a letter stating that if I do not pay the bill shortly they will turn this matter over to a collection agency.CityMD
