    On March 30th I received a 3 flavor variety pack of Pure Protein bars. I had been a regular consumer of this product for some months prior and was satisfied with their quality until I opened one of the flavors and discovered the bars were noticeably thinner and shorted than before. Out of curiosity I weighed each bar and discovered that they were on average 6g lighter than the reported weight of 50g per bar, with the most drastic being 42g. I emailed the company for support and was assured that my complaint would be filed, and then heard no further resolution. I ordered another batch to see if the problem was consistent and the next batch was back to the original weight.However, the latest products I received are now ALL under the reported weight. Three separate boxes, all weighing a net total of 550g versus the reported 600g. Each bar individually weighing between 43 and 46g, most hovering between 44 and 45 on average. This is equivalent to missing an entire bar from each box if the bars are reported to be 50g each. 1440 Foods has changed their production to make 45g bars instead of 50g bars, but is reporting and selling them as 50g.

    Attn: 1440 Foods Company I purchased a 12 bar pack of Pure Protein chocolate peanut butter bars on Amazon on date 09/03/2023 and was charged $16.94 on my ** EBT snap card. Upon receipt, the first bar opened tasted rancid and made me very nauseous so that I was unable to continue consumption. I immediately contacted and filed a report at customer service number **************. I informed the customer care associate that I was a very long time consumer of pure protein bars in the various flavors offered so that I was familiar with the taste of the particular bar and this package was very out of line from anything I had ever eaten before. It tasted of chemicals and quite frankly excrement. I cannot receive a refund from Amazon to my EBT card as the box was opened and one was attempted to be eaten. I contacted Pure Protein to request a remedy for renumeration of he $16.94. The associate stated this Pure Protein no longer refunds its customers! She stated that there was nothing she could do and expressed her own frustration with this policy as she understood that this amount should rightfully be refunded with no questions when a complaint has been filed. For reference and on record the code for this particular box of bars is ********************. I have never heard of a company not standing behind a product or putting their customer concerns first. I would think that this company would need to adhere to *** standards of quality control as a company who imports products from ****** and has a ** base un ***. I seek full renumeration of the $16.94 either as a refund to my EBT benefit gift card or as a check which I can at least deposit into an account. My mailing address is included above with this complaint. Thank you for your prompt attention to this very disconcerting matter. **************************************** *** ****

    Good morning,I contacted Pure Protein on October 13th, 2022 once I bit into a protein bar and discovered a large jagged piece of plastic in the bar. I wanted to warn them of a possible batch issue but also receive a refund for the bars purchased as I no longer felt safe eating them. It's been over 3 weeks and they never reached back out like I was told they would do. I did also send a follow up email with no reply. Thank you!

    About 01/04/2022 I bought Strawberry greek yogurt proteins bars from *************, (************, about 01/16/2022 while eating one of them it was extremely hard and broke my tooth upper left #**, I had lot of pain and bleeding, went to dentist got a quote and emailed it to them, will cost about $ ******* to extract and replace it, I contacted customer service ******** and Belle, and asked them for compensation, they dragged me for months by their emails , then they referred me to food manger *******************************, I contacted him by phone and email , he said to send a sample of the same box for testing , I did (sent to consumer feedback *******************************************************************. tracking # **********************) , was delivered on June 09/ 2022 at 9:41 am, now he does not reply my emails. their bad product caused my tooth to break. I need at least Just the cost to replace the tooth ($*******)

    As discussed, an internal investigation was initiated in response to the complaint received on product Strawberry Greek Yogurt 50g Bar 6 ct. Lot number **********, Bulk ***** and Product number *****. The consumer sample received, consisted of one sealed wrapper of lot# **********, best by 11 JUN 2022.

    The lab team concluded that there were no deviations or abnormalities documented in the manufacturing records. The lot ********** met all release criteria, including all microbiological and sensory testing. Retain samples were evaluated. After evaluating texture, all bars are consistent. Nothing was found in texture that would break/crack healthy teeth when biting and chewing.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     

     This test was biased and not accurate finding , my tooth #**,  upper left was broken when I ate your extremly hard strawberry greek yogurt bar. It caused pain and bleeding, I had healthy tooth up until I ate your hard bar, which YOU NOY suppose to sell. Why should I go through all this for the last 7 months, this is not professional and unethical from you, you are trying your best to get away with it which his not right.
