I honestly dont get why COLLBUREAU is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. I honestly dont get why CLLCN BUREAU OF THE ** is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I check on my credit score and it was down 121 points. I have not taken any loans out in my name or have any debts under my credit card. It was also brought to my attention that I spent ****** on August 11 but on that day I did not have that much money in my account. I went to setup acp ( free Internet) with optimum. I didn't finish step 3 ( which is giving my info and payment) because I didn't have approval for coax wire. They still sent it out anyway. I text again to verify I needed a coax wire. They wouldn't setup an appointment for the wire outside to come in since I just rent a room. So I NEVER took it out the box not ever had service. They picked the box back up. That's why they aren't trying to charge for equipment.i never had service and they state that there service wasn't active in messages provided. They have no wires here to even get service so this is fraud . I never even finished the application and this box was still sent to me.in the first messages it even states I didn't complete application. Please have them remove this fake acct and amount please. I never completed the application for them to send the free equipment. Even after they sent it the screenshots show optimum couldn't put a wire outside to connect which means there couldn't of been service. Only one of the months were credit after speaking with optimum. The bill doesn't show any service usage if any data . Optimum has no wire service at my location. No usage of any kind was serviced to me. Please remove this fake bill. CBHV has already responded twice to this complaint. We explained we would request the IB and forward once we receive it, we explained if he really wants to solve this he need to call. It is not productive to keep responding to his complaint, his concerns were addressed anything further he needs to call or pick up our calls.

02/22/24 On Thursday I called to pay off a debt collection for *******************. The debt was paid in full. The following day I called to obtain proof that my debt was paid. I spoke to I believe her name was *****. I asked for a deletion letter to which I was told they didnt give those out. I understood and asked for anything that I could use as proof to show that I had paid my debt in full to which I was rudely told deletion letters were not given out. I then asked to speak to a supervisor in which I was hung up before I could finish speaking. I called back to which the same person answered and told me to hold on. I was then transferred to a collection manager ***. I asked *** if there was anything I could obtain from them showing I paid my debt to which she said yes. I was told a letter stating the debt was paid in full could be sent to me via email. I then provided an email and was told I would receive it within ***** minutes. To this day I have not received any email I was promised. The behavior and manner in which I was spoken to is unacceptable. The person I spoke to had no respect for me whatsoever and was not profession in anyway. I hope the phone calls are recorded. If they are I hope they are reviewed so that the behavior is noted and employees are better trained. At this point in time, all I ask for is proof that I paid my debt so that I may keep for my records and that the debt is deleted from my credit history. I understand that I owed a debt to a debt collection agency but that does not excuse the behavior I endured through this ordeal.Business Response

Today on 1/4/24 I received a letter from Collection Bureau of Hudson Valley Inc. stating that I owe them $117.47. I never signed a contract with Collection Bureau of Hudson Valley Inc. and I do not believe I owe them any money. Additionally, the letter states that the original creditor is Optimum and that I owed $117.47 as of 09/22/23. However, in bad faith, ******* refused to cancel and refund my account when I attempted to cancel with them back in September of 2023. Additionally, the continued to solicit me for further business despite me having to repeatedly state that I want to cancel my policy and I do not want any further. The fact that they have authorized a creditor who again wants to get me on the phone again is worrisome and suspicious for fraudulent activity. I reject these claims of owing any money entirely, and I wish to dispute this further.
