I'm not liable for this debt with CBHV I don't have a contract with CBHV agency trying to collect and reporting this to my credit report. I don't have a contract with this collection agency and I did not sign any paperwork with this collection agency in my case being CBHV stated that I have to pay them or owe them money when i do not have a contract with this collection agency. I received a notice that I have a collection from CLLCN BUREAU OF THE ** on my credit report. It says it was opened on 05/15/2023 for $169.00 with account number starting in ********** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the **** and FDCPA.I would like for this collection to be removed asap or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.Business response

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Collection Bureau Hudson Valley regarding their refusal to acknowledge and respond to my attempt to reach a settlement agreement for a debt that I owe. I believe this behavior is unprofessional and unethical, and I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter. I have attempted to resolve this debt through negotiations with CBHV. An email was sent outlining my financial limitations and offering a reasonable repayment plan. Despite my sincere efforts to engage in productive dialogue and reach a mutually agreeable resolution. CBHV has ignored my attempts to communicate. They have not provided any form of acknowledgement or acknowledgement of my settlement proposal. Their refusal to engage in meaningful discussions regarding a settlement agreement has left me feeling frustrated and helpless. I would like to emphasize that I am fully committed to resolving this debt in a responsible manner, and I firmly believe that a fair settlement agreement can be reached if CBHV is willing to cooperate and engage in a constructive dialogue. Unfortunately, their disregard for my attempt to establish a settlement agreement has created unnecessary obstacles and hindered the progress towards resolving this matter. I proposed that the account be settled with a payment of 40% of the debt owed in exchange for written confirmation that explicitly states that the debt will be considered fully satisfied upon receipt of the agreed settlement amount and that the tradeline will be removed from my credit report accordingly.As a concerned consumer, CBHV's behavior to be in direct violation of ethical business practices and contrary to the principles of fair debt collection. I kindly request assistance with addressing this issue and ensure that CBHV acknowledges my attempts to reach a settlement agreement and responds to my inquiries promptly.Business response

In order to negotiate a possible settlement agreement, you will need to speak to a CBHV representative so that we can properly discuss the parameters set forth by our client. CBHV does not credit report this account.Customer response

I. have an ongoing payment plan for my Medical account balance with **********************, I called ************ and spoke with ******************* 2 weeks ago and I requested an itemized payment history. I requested it be emailed to me at ********************** We are going into week 3 and I still have not received email or mail. I was hit by an Uber while riding my bike 8.3.22. The driver was found 100% at fault and ******** Transit is the insurance company for the driver. The case was a no-fault claim. ************** turned my case over to collections even though it was an open case and ******** Transit was paying it. I even spoke to them on multiple occasions and provided them with the contact at ******** Transit and they refused to contact them for payment. That email is attached. They were not supposed to turn over an open case to collections according to ******** Transit. *********************** at ******** Transit has tried to contact Collection Bureau Hudson Valley to provide evidence Seniorcare was paid by them and that I should never have been turned over to them to begin with but nobody responds. I have also tried contacting them and there is no response. I want evidence that my credit has not been damaged due to Seniorcare's negligence, laziness and error. CBHV filed a bill to ******** Transit to be paid despite the fact that ************** had already been paid. They're con artists. I want my credit repaired since they were never have supposed to have been contacted by ************** in the first place and they refuse to respond to requests by ******** Transit and myself to confirm they have reversed any potential damage they did to my credit.Business response
