I went to browns service department for a repair. Not knowing it would take 8 times going there and 2 1/2 months to fix my problem that the service department created. *** the service manager was not helpful at all, very discouraging after he said he did not recall the conversation when he called me to schedule the appointment. No courtesy at all. ***** was very clueless on what was going on , no communication on his part. VERY POOR SERVICE EXPERIENCE. I bought my jeep from them , and had numerous services there. I will not be returning as a customer.

Hello,The customer did have to come in multiple times to have his vehicle repaired. Browns did not create his problem, otherwise he would never come to the repair shop from the start. He had a noise concern and brought it in for a repair. Unfortunately, he had multiple issues on his 10-year-old vehicle. 2 rebuilt parts from the manufacturer came in defective. The appointment date for him to pick up a loaner car was the incorrect date. We provided him a courtesy car every time he came in which we did not have to supply. We refunded him any money that was due him. He was upset that the date for the loaner car was incorrect, and he came in before his appointment. He was not upset unti then and he decided to go all over social media and voice a complaint. The vehicle was returned fixed at the agreed upon price.

I purchased a 2013 Ram 1500 in 2017 and was told it was a Ram certified vehicle. Upon attempting to trade-in said vehicle I was informed via carfax that the truck was involved in an accident with airbag deployment seriously affecting my trade-in value. They were not very transparent and concealed what I feel to be very important information that affects my purchase of a new vehicle. If I had known this information I would not have purchased the 2013 Ram . I will absolutely not purchase another vehicle from this dealer and will definitely not recommend them to anyone else due to their extremely shady business practices and failing to inform me of the vehicle's history.ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE !!!

Caught in the between dealership and warranty company. 3 months ago I took my 2018 Dodge Durango to Browns in ********* for a very bad oil leak. I gave a copy of my *************** and keys to the service manager. He took my number.A week later I call Browns to follow up. I was told the warranty company came and took pictures but has not given the ok to work on the car. I called the warranty company and was told the claim was denied due to the dealership breaking down the engine without authorization from the warranty company. I have been going back and forth between both the warranty company and the dealership to get my car fixed. I hired an attorney to get assistance. I was ***** is now trying to change me $1330 for the teardown of my engine. THE WARRANTY CONTRACT I GAVE TO THEM DURING DROPOFF STATES I HAVE $100 deductible. Im told I will not get my car back until I pay the $1330. This is work experience dealing with a dealership in my ***************************************************************************************************************** the insured.

If your looking to get ripped off by the service department then Browns is the place for you. I brought my wrangler in for an open recall replacement. While I had it there, I figured I'd see if they could look into a few other things while their at it. I advised them that i was experiencing the death wobble, which was probably from the steering dampener and also the rear defroster detached from the rear window. The person who helped(*******) asked if I had a warranty. I told him yes. He then called me after I had left to get my warranty information. I assumed that after providing him with the information in which I was having issues with he'd call the warranty company to make sure it was covered. As it turns out he did the diagnostic first then called the warranty company to see if it was covered. So because of this I got hit with a $200 diagnostic fee for him to just tell me what I already had told him. When I tried to dispute the charge he just said that he had to run a diagnostic in order to ask the warranty company if it's covered. You deal with jeeps on a daily basis. If your given specific details on what's wrong you should have a pretty good idea what to ask the warranty company. this might sound like a small amount to be upset about but its more the principal then the price. I certainly will not be returning to this dealership for future repairs.

This car was out of the base Jeep warranty. There is a diagnostic fee for verifying customer concerns when their vehicle is out of Jeep base warranty and customers are advised of this charge upfront. The technicians and service advisors time must be accounted for. Third party or aftermarket warranties do not cover diagnostic charges and is the customers responsibility. We have no control over aftermarket warranty policies and procedures or what they decide to cover under the policy. If the customer feels that their *********** warranty should pay for diagnostics, it would be up to the customer to contact their warranty company.
