I purchased a vehicle from the Mechanicville location in June 2023. In August the check engine light came on. I was brought back in September and was told it was a hole in the exhaust and they weren't going to be able to find it. They turned the light off and returned it without fixing the issue. When i called to ask about the fix, I was told its not an issue and was offered to reschedule a time to have it fixed with no date of return or promise it would be fixed. Due to complications with my pregnancy and not knowing when i would be able to have my car back as i have a full time job 1 car and another child i was not able to get it back in. I returned June 2024 to have the problem fixed, I dropped it off Sunday night and called Monday morning to check the status, the man who I scheduled this appointment with told me he didn't look at it because he didn't know what it was there for. Monday afternoon he turned the check engine light off, so Tuesday when he did not show for work the other mechanic did not know what the code or issues were and nothing was done. Wednesday was the same I complained about a transmission issue as well that was not looked at , I was told he can only find the issue when its colder out and it was to hot, and I was returned the car with no repairs. Check engine light came back on Thursday morning. I returned the following week with a scheduled appointment and was told I had to reschedule (again car not looked at) and leave it again overnight with no options for substitute transportation and minimal response to my issues. My warranty is now almost run out and they have refused to do the work or exchange the vehicle. I fear my transmission is slipping and check engine light has been on for almost a year.
