I was fitted for the True Limb prosthetic several times. I followed every step the designers, consultants, counselors, physical/prosthetic education specialists instructed me to do. The next to last fitting the prosthetic fell off when I picked up a bag of groceries. So they fitted it again by cell phone pictures, even after I asked for a video interview. I was told it wasn't necessary for them to correct it. But when I received it again, the sensors failed to respond to my muscle contractions after 5 - 10 minutes of use. (This is after calibrating it several times.) When I contacted Unlimited Tomorrow I was told that there was nothing they could do further. I was devastated! An $8000 bionic toy that was no use to me! I reached out to the sales team and asked about the refund guarantee. I was denied on the basis of several of their clauses. The one they cited to me was the timeframe of *********************************************************************** regardless of whether I had to send it back because it kept falling off! What?! They make a product they guarantee, but it is impossible to actually receive ANY guarantee for their product if it is not the correct fit when they send you the final prosthesis. I was extremely excited to have use of my right hand that I lost 2 years ago when my riding lawn mower tipped over a bank and cut off my hand. Unlimited Tomorrow raised my hopes for an affordable prosthesis that would improve my life. Instead, after paying the $8000 up front, they gave up and said I had their final version. So, I currently use it as a decoration for my living room. They should change their policy "clauses" regarding their guidelines for a guarantee, or be more transparent about it. I can not, in good conscience, recommend Unlimited Tomorrow as a company that stands behind it's product. People who have a limb difference already struggle enough. To be put through this emotional wringer was not worth the effort and time it cost me.
