  12/11/2023 I had an implant placed, in my lower left jaw, by Oral Dentist, Dr Jolly C******, Rochester, NY, in May of 2015. it worked fine until the fifth year, in July of 2020. the Implant came very loose. I made an appointment, and I came into his office7/9/202, so he could take a look. C******, said it was indeed loose, and he was very surprised by it. he tried to tighten it and it became worse. I had to have him take it out and the pain was horrible. He blamed the implant, and promised to call the salesman to see why the implant in his words, "failed'. This went on for the next few years. Always an excuse that the salesman didn't call him back. . Doctor C******, never accepted responsibility for the failed implant operation! I sent follow up e mails and left phone messages for Dr C****** to please call me, and discuss a full or partial refund for the implant that I paid for out of my own pocket. I finally spoke by phone, 11/30/2023, with a receptionist Kelly, and asked for a partial/full refund, to which she said he wasn't in and away at a conference. I finally got a return phone call from her, 12/11/2023, saying the Doctor didn't think I qualified for any refund and blamed me for the implant failing!!   This case was discussed at length with Dr. C****** regarding whether or not the implant failed due to a defect.  No defect was found and it was expalined to Mr. ****** why the implant failed and why there was no credit issued by the implant manufacturer.  I am not able to discuss his case as it would be a HIPPA violation.  There were other factors associated with this case that caused the failure of the implant which we are not able to discuss with the BBB.  Mr. ******* is always welcome to request his dental record.

  I’m not happy with Dr C******, and his failed implant and procedure for me. He is ultimately responsible for that failure and should make good on the money I spent, if not in full then a partial payment refund. 
  I never heard his reason for the implant and his surgical procedure failure.
  I also spent a lot of money having my regular Dentist,  Dr *** *****, Brighton,NY, make a fake tooth that was screwed into the implant. Dr C******, assured *****, the procedure would work! 
  C******, still has that fake tooth and never returned it.

  I want it back and It  can be sent to ******* office at ***** ****** ******, Brighton, NY

  As I indicated previously, I did discuss this with Mr. ****** and he is welcome to obtain his dental record.  I did previously explain why the implant failed to the patient.  I will again discuss with Dr. C****** as to what he would like to do and I will contact Mr. G**** directly.
