Will not use Great Value Vacations again! We booked our Vacation to *****/******/********* and paid $6579 in full at the time of booking. The day prior to departure, we still did not have all our travel vouchers and transport information for the ********* portion of our trip. We reached out to *** by phone and were told the Reference # on our Amsterdam itinerary was all we needed for our excursions in ********* and transport info. When we arrived in ******, our hotel accommodations were incorrect and we were advised by the hotel that *** sent the wrong accommodation request. We spent several hours waiting as the hotel worked out the correct accommodation needs. Next, when we arrived in *********, we found out that the Itinerary Ref# that the *** representative had advised on our call to *** the day prior to our trip departure was of no use and we needed vouchers for our Amsterdam canal cruise and city walk excursions and airport transfer info. So in the midst of our vacation, we had to spend our valuable vacation time on a phone call to *** to have them email the documents they should have provided prior to our departure, we ended up buying canal cruise tickets again on our own, even though we had previously purchased as part of our package. Needless to say, the issues, poor lack of follow through by *** to to ensure we had everything we needed prior to our trip and the interruption of our vacation time to rectify these issues by calling *** took away our lack of peace on our trip. On returning home, we emailed *** about the issues and asked for a partial refund for the issues that were not completed correctly on their part and stated that we would not use *** again due to their poor follow through. They responded with an offer of a $100 credit per person future *** travel, even though we had advised we would not travel with *** again.They did refund the canal cruise, however when we asked for $100 pp refund instead of a future travel credit, they refused.

I had to cancel my trip and did it in plenty of time and had purchased the ***************** Even though I had purchased insurance, great value vacations refused to give me credit for both airline tickets. They would only give me credit for mine and not the other parties even though Ill purchases had been made by me through my bank card. I did not ask for a refund only the credit that was due me so I could rebook the vacation, when I tried to rebook the vacation, they told me I was not able to use any coupon codes therefore, my trip was going to be double the price and I was out the $700 from the second plane ticket. They did attempt to send a message to the other party who was on the plane ticket originally. That person never responded. There is nothing that I could find in the travel cancellation policy with the insurance that states you cannot get Credit for the airline ticket if your name is not on it or that you are unable to use coupon codes when you book again. In the end, I will be $2700 as I am unable to pay for another ticket or double the price of the original vacation.

As previously advised, the air portion of the travel credit belongs to the specific traveler that the ticket was booked for. That amount ($503) belongs to the other party in your booking.
