I dropped my car off at Curry Chevrolet on September 13th because when I would stop at a light the car would auto shutoff but not turn back on. I had to put the car in park and restart it. The car would also jerk like it was in reverse while at a complete stop at a light, when you would start to accelerate. This happened a few times and was alarming. The dealer said I had a deductible and asked if there were any other concerns with my vehicle so as to take care of it under 1 deductible. I let them know my sunroof had been closed for over a year because the awning was missing the clips to keep it together. The dealer called around the 19th and I came, paid for the services, and picked up the car. I took the car to the gas station and opened the sunroof. It would NOT close. I immediately returned to the dealership and was then informed that the sunroof needed a new motor. They kept the car again and didnt call me until the 28th of September and told me my car was wet inside, but that I could still pick it up. I asked them why my car was wet inside when it has been with the dealership for weeks, and was NOT wet when I dropped it off. The manager ******* told me it was a nice day and I can just let the car air out. He informed me that they would bring me my car the next day. On the the 29th it had torrential rains and my car was never brought to me, but ******* told me my car was on a hill and would not get wet. It shouldnt matter, as the issue was supposed to have been fixed already. On the 30th, I showed up at the dealer since no one called. I was told the part for the sunroof was back ordered. ***** was on a strike, but they were able to close the sunroof. When I got in the car, it was soaked from roof to floor! It was so wet the inside was a different color. I thought they replaced the awning and roof with dark gray. They then spent 2hours drying it out! Now the electrical system is broken and I have had the loaner since Oct. 27th with no call from them.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Curry called me Thursday but I couldnt get the car. On Friday 1/26 I picked up my car. I noticed rust on the floor runners for the seats and considerable mold or mildew on all fabric surfaces. When I went to work the next morning (Saturday), the drivers light was on but not on (dimly lit). I took video to show that it is lit up compared to the passenger side, and the difference in brightness when they are actually turned on. I called Curry, but had to bring the car on Monday, as they close early on Saturday. The tech had to remove the light panel and turn off the electricity for it. I said I think its an electrical short because of all the water damage. They wanted to check the light first. I feel I have been disregarded at every step and not listened to in regards to the many issues I have had to deal with. I believe Curry damaged my car and are trying any way they can to not take responsibility for their actions. At least two of the original service members I dealt with no longer work there. I dont trust that I am not going to have continuous random problems with it now. Curry had my car for months, didnt fix all the issues, and were re-contacted within a day. How many times do I have to get the run around (while still paying insurance and car note), before something is done?? And just fyi, my name is **** not *******. They couldnt even be bothered to get my name right!
