They failed to get my vehicle transported in the time period that they said they would. I had paid them a deposit because the assured me that it will get done. I asked for my deposit back, and they gave me the run around until they just stopped answering my calls and texts.Initial Complaint

I hired this company to ship my vehicle from ***** to ******* on Feb 16, 2022. I was assured my vehicle would be covered for any damages due to the company up to $100,000. Upon delivery, the driver damaged the undercarriage of my vehicle. In doing do my cars check engine light came on (because he damaged my O2 sensor) and cracked my radiator. I contacted the company who advised the driver was a throw party the contracted to ship the vehicle. The representative ****, basically told me their was nothing he company could do and I would have to contact the driver. I did so and still no response nor has anyone called me back to get my side of the story. No called or contacted me in days so I decided to call **** back. After some time , I asked **** for a supervisor because he wasnt willing to help me. All he cared about was the driver, saying the driver sent pictures and based off the drivers side of the story, he couldnt help me. I feel like I was racially profiled because I am a young ******* American woman. **** promised he would have a superb call me back. It has been over eight days since that last conversation and STILL no call back. All in all I had to just go through my insurance company which Im still going through the process.Initial Complaint

Signed contract for pickup and transport of car from ** to OH for ****** USD. Texted that there was a driver available to pick up the car today (Jan 17, 2022). Confirmed before signing contract - have text confirmation. Today, company calls and wants more money if I want the car shipped. They have a deposit of ****** and have not provided a driver. Reached out to vendor to pick up vehicle from *************, ******* to *****, ******* provided a deposit of $100.00 via cash app in December 2021 and have called every week sometimes 4 times a week to inquire about why I have not received my car. Spoke to several individuals and I have yet to have this situation resolved. I have spoken to the following individuals *****, ***** who had no idea what was going on, spoke to ******************** who claim to be a supervisor and was told they were not. Spoke to ********************* who transferred me again to *****. She promised this past week that she would find someone and she would call me and yet again they failed no phone calls. I told her that I am military stationed overseas and need my car in ***** so I can pickup there and there is no care in the world. I asked for the deposit back and cant get it either. Please somebody just get my money back and banned them from serving the military community. Its all false. I am very disappointed on the outcome of the situation. I signed a contract with Elite Auto Shipping on Dec 14th to transport a veh from ** to ** on Jan 11. The total price for all fees and deposit was $700. The day of pickup, I was told by **** at Elite that the truck was full and we needed another driver. It is now Jan 18th and I have been told multiple times a day I need to pay more (between $850-$1100) or no drivers will pickup. I have reminded **** every time we signed a contract for $700! I have warned him of complaints and possible law suit to come should he not deliver as per contract. **** informed me today that he would be charging my credit card as he needs his broker fee (he had not charged the $100 deposit yet). This is a bait and switch, offering a lowball quote knowing no driver would take the trip for so little money! I have every text message between us and a copy of the contract!Customer response

I worked with Elite Auto Shipping, who verbally guaranteed that I would have my car through carrier *********** Express by Dec. 31, where I would not have this guarantee from the other two companies I was engaging with. Those two other companies were more affordable but I prioritized the earlier delivery and went with Elite Auto. I told the dispatcher on the phone that I would need the car by Dec. 31 to Reno and if not, then it would need to be delivered to *************. They said no problem- that the car would get to Reno in time. That day (Dec. 25) my car was picked up. On the delivery day I spoke with the driver who told me his axle broke and it would be at least three days delay, and that once he talked to the dispatch hed figure out how to get my car to *************. In the meantime I wasnt able to reach Elite Auto or *********** Express. *********** finally returned my call today (Jan. 2) saying it was a weather event delaying the truck (not true) and that they would not deliver my car to ************* because that was not the contract. I am STILL unable to reach Elite Auto who *********** said I would need to work with to recontract. I was lied to by both of these companies and no one is taking responsibility, and I do not have the money to cover this cost of renting a car and driving to Reno or elsewhere if they drop my car somewhere where I am not because they did not maintain their vehicle equipment.Initial Complaint

I contracted with Elite Auto Shipping to transport a vehicle. We were fighting time as it was in an insurance salvage lot and needed to be out in three days. If you look at the contracts #********** shows an approximate pick up of 12/13/21. By this time I was starting to accrue storage fees. Late on the 14th I contacted **** at ************ asking what would it take to get the van out of the lot that day She got back to me stating that she found a driver to get it out but it would cost an additional $150.00. Copart contacted me that it was picked up on the 15th.By this time I had accrued $75.00 storage fees. I contacted **** Friday 12/17 because I still had not heard anything about delivery. She checked and said that the van was in Bens Auto Transport lot and that he would be delivering it over the weekend. It is now 5:30 and I just got a call that it is on its way., I would have bet that it was not going to show up but was wrong. This in no way negates the rest of the facts and the issue of the change in price plus the storage fees because it was not picked up in a timely manner. I am willing to pay the original quoted ****** because it is a fair price however I wish to be reimbursed for the additional $225.00Customer response

Elite Auto Shipping services were paid for to ship a vehicle from *********, ** to Ofallon, ** with "door to door" service. As terms of the contract any changes made to pick up or drop off location would incur an additional charge to the shipper. I received a call from the driver the day of delivery and they stated they cannot deliver it to my door as per the contract. After reaching out to Elite Auto they not only refused to make adjustments to the charge they hung up the call stating they are not changing the price. As per the contract I would have incurred an additional charge for any changes, it's only fair that the company abide by their own policy and refund a portion in the amount of $200 (the amount I would have been charged for any deliver changes)Customer response

Company promosed theyd pick up my vehicle thurs at the earliest and fri 10/22 at the latest. I never heard from them until saturday which is too late and now they want to charge me a cancellation fee. Theyvbroke the contract and i have text messages saying theyd pick it up no later than fri and now they are changing their mind.
