      The Worst I have stomach cancer had procedure rescheduled 2 times because they did not show up to pick me up ! I’m hearing *** ***** owns part of this company and get good friend oversees it if this is true .. who’s going to help us with the horrible administrative practices in this company ??? I’m rescheduled again this month .. called Senator and state Assemby Man for help promised me they would. Let’s see .

      My mother has cancer and needed an overdue PT scan. Due to my mother's requirements for a 2 man carry. I called to scheduled transportation on Tuesday for a Saturday pickup. Saturday morning, I called the ambulate company, who was assigned to the job only to be told that they can't handle the job, and that they kicked the job back to MAS. Last minute MAS reassigned the job to another ambulate company who couldn't handle the job. Well, long story short, my mother missed her appointment. I don't know if my review matters, but the need to better their services.

      Mass trans Unprofessional and misleading by manager Mr T*****. by giving false information NEVER said about APPROVAL taking now 4 days so far. For a two men assistance wheel chair bound URGENT appt ingrown infected toe 103 years old has me calling trans com knowing it's not APPROVED HAD to beg for 20 minutes for him to speak w/ trans com cause he was refusing clear this back and forth Mom's has future APPTS :0(

      I truly believe that MAS should lose its contract with the Department of Health, if that is where their funding comes from. Their lack of professionalism and accountability is CRIMINAL!!! This is a privately held company, and their president, Russ M****** should be thrown in jail for stealing tax payer money, while hanging one of the most vulnerable populations in our city out to dry. Transportation vendors cancel whenever they want to, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO OVERSIGHT provided by MAS. Vitally important trips are constantly cancelled, which impacts the health of so many New Yorkers dramatically. All of the workers work from home and there is no centralized system to resolve any of the issues. What it comes down to is RACISM and CLASSISM. Those who receive Medicaid are treated as SECOND CLASS citizens and their health concerns mean absolutely nothing, as MAS continues to put tax payer money in its pockets.. This is Unacceptable!!!

      MAS does not work online or by phone. It is impossible to make transportation arrangements for M'caid subscriber.

      I called to seek help after days of trying different browsers and any possible method not to call them but I finally had to. The problem is when I log into my account it asks me to verify my phone number, which that box is blank and I can not enter my number to verify. I called an not to get to nastily, to the answer, which I had to press 00 a bunch of times just to talk to a real person, she did nothing to help and just suggested I try everything I have for the last 3-4 days. needless to say I hung up and wrote this.

      The concept of providing transportation for medical services has plateau. No longer dependable, the Medical Answering Service and its vendors are near extention and yes much like the writer decribed below, starting to rear that ugly head of discrimination. I will be asking for a refund for out of pockets expenses incurred due to interruption of services. Apparently their vendor cancelled 11/16/2023 upon my arrival at the confirmed pick up I just rode the bus two hours from another county, after I 'd confirmed the trip the night before 11/15/2023 by their vendor, I believe tweleve hours is more than enough time to adjust and notice your schedule. As I mentioned toMr.L******* the MAS representative, the cancelling , timing and the allowances you have with their vendors, should not cause me any undue stress and or harm. I am requesting the cost of my *********** ticket refunded back to me. at total 68.00 refunded.

      MAS Transportation discriminates against permanently disabled, goes against our constitutional rights by dropping our medical transportation if our doctors are not involved with them, sending them forms every year. I am taking this problem to the media. I don't have long to live and these bums don't make life easier as I had to keep cancelling my appts. 1 star is far too much then this company is worth.

      SCAM!! I was charged $300 for a $100 per night room booking dates were changed so I had no hope of canceling with refund. Please call a hotel directly don't get scammed as I did.

      This business has consistently underperformed in terms of customer service. There is often a long wait to speak to anyone (approximately 45 mins). For those of us who work full time, that is problematic. Most of the people who answer the phone are surly and rude. In addition, getting the invoice # to get reimbursed (I provide the transportation for my disabled child to see specialists long distance) is time consuming. This last time, it took 2 months to obtain an invoice #. I called to obtain one within their 3 day time frame, faxed in whatever they asked me to (different people there asked me to do different things, as if they are playing from different rulebooks), and had to email them to follow up twice, had to call the Department of Health (they fund them), and complain repeatedly to a local representative. I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS NONSENSE. Shape up, Medanswering!!
