      Purchased a new refrigerator from Olum’s on 1/10/24 and it was delivered on 1/17/24. It is a 21 cu ft sis as refrigerator (model **********). We have had 4 service calls on it so far. 1/18 or 1/19. Repair of ice maker 2/21 we notice the temp is increasing in the frig and freezer. Call Olum’s for service and they arrange for ***** Appliance to come 2/23. Not sure of the problem so order multiple parts Defrost so runs in the meantime 3/1. ***** comes with 5 parts. I know 3 were thermistors and one was a control board. In other words they don’t know what the problem is so just put in a bunch of parts. It does work for awhile 4/14. Temp in frig and freezer start rising again. I keep a thermometer in frig because I don’t trust it. I call both ********* and Olum’s again 4/17. ***** service comes again. Here over an hour and the fix is making a better connection with the thermistor using zip ties? I have talked to multiple people at Olum’s including Dory L**** and David W*****. I have basically been told it’s a ********* problem and I should deal with them. They will not even contact ********* on our behalf. I’ve asked for a replacement or refund. No help from Olum’s except a loaner dorm size frig. We’ve had the frig less than three months and have 4 service calls, have had to put food in coolers for multiple days three times. Each time we had to throw out food and buy multiple bags of ice. Also my husband is a cancer and diabetic patient and has meds that need to be refrigerated. Those meds have been kept in a neighbors frig during these issues. Just glad we were home so they didn’t go bad. Also, I have asked Olum’s, ********* and ***** for copies of the service reports but am told ********* won’t let us have them. I have tried to get notes and photos during the last 2 calls I feel we paid for a new frig and we deserve a new frig we can rely on

      Bought a Whirlpool, over the stove, microwave, and installation. Unit was installed and installer left leaving paperwork and telling homeowner that everything was working and fine. During the first few uses the unit was not venting out and throwing large violent puffs of steam when door was opened. Fearful of steam burns to the face and/or hands or a fire, Olum's was called back. The second installer found that there was a mismatch between the microwave vent and the wall vent opening. He then made adjustments and now the unit is working fine. He then presented a bill for $107.95. The bill was then paid. I then complained to Olum's about the $107.95. My reasons being 1) The initial installer had told us that the unit was functionally installed and that everything was OK 2) We should have been informed of the problem, potential hazards and possible solutions.. We were not informed 3) The second installer rectified what the first installer should have done. 4) WE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR A LESS THAN COMPETENT FIRST INSTALLATION. Action should have been taken with the first installer. Not me. I have communicated with Olum's Store Manager (Mr D***) and Director of Operations (Mr W*****). Their position is that they are willing to refund the $107.95 with the position .."with the understanding that in no way is Olum's accepting liability for the ventilation problem. Nor are we accepting liability for any future repairs of the microwave or ventilation." I am willing to accept the return of the $107.95 but not the terms. I don't think that the warranty on the unit should be essentially cancelled. I am very thankful that the problem was rectified before we had serious problems (fire). Please help
