I am so upset .. I was called yesterday to be told I owed a balance . This was the first I heard of it . Then to be called today and told that I have had a running balance . Each time I checked out of appointments I was told I owed nothing . I ALWAYS PAY MY BILLS ! I had to cancel a cleaning appointments due to a family emergency and was called back and told I am being discharged from the practice . Seriously !! This is awful . You should be ashamed of yourself .Business response

In regards to complaint #********The balance that the patient’s parent is referring to is an amount that was not paid in full by insurance after submission to the primary insurance. This has been paid by the primary insurance, submitted to the secondary insurance, and is still currently out to the secondary insurance to determine potential coverage of treatment rendered. No statement has been sent to the patient’s parent concerning balance because we participate wit* ******** * ******* **** ********* and no balance would be due the patient’s parent for treatment rendered. With regards to the cancelled appointments same day, the patient’s parent called the office at 7:31am to cancel confirmed appointments at 8:00am. The patient’s mother stated that she would not be able to bring her two children in for their appointments because she needed to drive her spouse to work. When given the option to still come in after she dropped spouse off, this was not an option. Our office policy is that with two missed appointments patient / patients can be / will be dismissed (missed appointment fees cannot be charged to patient / parent with managed care insurances). These office policies were reviewed with patient’s parent and signed (on 3-23-2023) by patient’s parent and can be provided if needed. With the aggressive nature of the patient’s parent with regards to the cancelled appointments and as to how the patient’s parent went about this case in filing a complaint, the office staff and I do not feel comfortable seeing patient / parent in office and has been dismissed. All patients can be seen for thirty (30) days for emergent care only. A certified letter of dismissal will be sent and we can forward patient / parent’s information to any office of their choosing.Initial Complaint

Had mccue make me dentures about a year ago I’ve been fighting with them trying to get them to fit them and make them right or just recently I had an appointment that they canceled so I went to work that day well they called me hours later telling me that they could fit me in I didn’t end up going to it because I was already at work but they called me the next day and told me that they had dismissed me from their office and that I wouldn’t be able to come back for two years so now I have these dentures that I paid for that will not fit and do me no good and they refused to finish the work that they were paid to doBusiness response

Patient had complete upper denture delivered 12-3-2020 which was covered through patient's insurance - denture consent at all steps was reviewed and signed by patient/Dr/staff - delivery went well and patient was seen for an adjustment appt on 12-22-2020 where adjustments were made and patient was instructed to contact office if further adjustments were needed
Patient was seen again or made contact with office until cleaning/Exam appt on 5-20-2021 - patient stated at this time that possible adjustments may be needed and patient was scheduled in for an adjustment appt on 5-27-2021 - patient then proceeded to NO SHOW this confirmed adjustment appointment - patient did not contact office after NS appointment to reschedule - patient had routine cleaning appointment scheduled from his 5-20-2021 appointment.
Patient had another cleaning / adjustment appointment scheduled on 11-8-2021 - patient contacted the office the day of to cancel his appointment - out office NS Policy was reviewed and patient was scheduled back on 11-30--2021 - patient had cleaning, denture adjustment, and again the office NS policy was reviewed - an appointment was scheduled for patient on 3-24-2022 for operative treatment (filling) and denture follow up.
Patient proceeded to NO SHOW confirmed appointment on 3-24-2022 for operative treatment (filling) and denture follow up - based on MULTIPLE missed appointments and patient non-compliance patient was placed on office dismissal list to be dismissed from office.
Based on patient's non-compliant dental history the patient had ample opportunities to have denture evaluated and adjusted - all proper office paperwork has been signed by patient including Office NS Policy and Denture Consent form.
