      Unity Asset Management continues to call my place if business multiple times a day with harassing language regarding a file they have. I can’t have them calling my office

Upon receiving notification of the complaint, Unity Asset Management conducted an internal investigation regarding this matter. Unity Asset Management maintains direct business-like and legally compliant practices and procedures. Upon investigation of this matter, we have found the following regarding the conversation Mrs. ******* had when speaking with our representative in regards to an account in our office regarding an overdue balance. The consumer was left voicemails in regards to an account we had placed in our office for review. We are very time limited with these accounts and are simply trying to get their response before our client pulls the account from our office. All we are trying to do is get in contact with the consumer, provide them the information that we received and see how they wish to resolve the account. We do not imply that there are legal threats. They may mistake our urgency for threats but we apologize as that is not our intention at all.       There is a company called Unity Asset and a lady named Tiffany R*** keeps calling saying I need to speak with them or my attorney and get my side of the story and without my statement further legal action will be taken! I have never heard of this company and I am about to get a lawyer if they don’t stop threatening me! If this is just a debt collector then they really need to go about this a different way. Threatening people and saying I need an attorney and a statement is not right!

      This company is calling me non stop on spam likely numbers and leaving a voicemail threatening legal matters. I have gotten multiple calls during my work hours and while I am at my job. I have never heard of this company and can find no information about the name they are using when calling me which is ***** ******. I have no idea why they are harassing me

      I am upset that this company was threatening legal action against me without any context or information. There has been not a single piece of written correspondence. I want everything they have on me to be mailed to me.

      We apologize if the consumer felt like we were threatening legal action but that is not our intention at all. We have a very short time frame to talk to these accounts and get their statements so she might have mistook our urgency for threats but like we stated that is not our intention at all. The consumer's account has been placed in a cease and desist status so she will not be contacted moving forward.

      This company contacted my brothers girlfriend requesting to speak with me about a legal matter. I don’t know this company and have not had any dealings with the company. They called me afterwards claiming I needed to call them and provided a file number. When I called them back to inquire about who they are and what they do, the lady wouldn’t provide any of that information but wanted me to provide all of my information, which I didn’t. Again I do not know who and what this company is, but calling my friends and family is against the law

We indeed had a file in our office pertaining to Mr. *****, however we never spoke to the individual to go over the matter. We may have spoken to his brother’s girlfriend but we were just simply calling the numbers listed on the account to try and get in contact with Mr. *****. We were unable to do so and we can not find any record of the conversation he stated he had with one of our representatives. The consumer did not need to provide any information as we had all the information already and we just needed to verify who we were speaking to. No further correspondence has been placed to Mr. ***** since that day and no further correspondence will be made. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

      This company keeps calling me saying I'm being sued and I haven't received anything in the mail from them. Then threatening me saying they gonna say I refused to call but I have no idea who these people are and what they want. Calling work and ex. Lady keeps saying her name is Tiffany reed and I have til end of day or she.is marking me as refusal. How am I refusing when I haven't received nothing in the mail from these idiots. They are going about everything wrong. Saying they need to talk to me.or my attorney. They can mail me stuff. Not just call and threaten me

Unity Asset Management maintains direct business-like and legally compliant practices and procedures. Upon investigation of this matter, we have found the following regarding the conversation Ms. ***** had when speaking with our representative in regards to an account in our office regarding an overdue balance. We were never actually able to speak with Ms. ***** in regards to the overdue balance within our office. When we receive these alleged debts, we have a limited time frame to get in contact with the consumer to make them aware of the situation and get their statement. Sometimes our urgency gets mistaken for implying legal action but that is not our intent at all and we do not say they are being sued by any means. Before we contact any account, a letter is to be sent to the consumers address that was provided on file for verification but if the consumer is stating she has never received anything in regards to this then we would have no problem getting her the requested Information if she had just called and told us she never received anything. We apologize that the representative on the account was not helpful in the situation but the consumer is more than welcome to go down the
      chain of title if she wishes to verify we are in charge of the account. Other than that, the account has been marked as a cease and desist and no further contact will be made to the consumer from our company. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused.

      Receiving calls from this company asking for my location. I do not know this company or have any business with them. I have had a complaint from a provider at my hospital that they have even reached out to her on my behalf, stating that I provided her number as a reference, which is an absolute lie! It's incredibly inappropriate to call a co-worker/boss and harass them into giving my personal information. Not to mention, what kind of shady stuff was done to even get her phone number because I would never give it out. They are putting my employment in jeopardy. I request a cease and desist immediately.

      I received a phone message from a Mr H***** ###-###-#### leaving a message demanding a call back today from me or my legal representation —implying of a pending legal action against me. When returning the call Mr H***** refused to send me any collection letter or documentation of alleged debt. He then stated they would “move forward “ again implying legal action. He stated he is calling from Unity Asset for ******* ***** ***** - neither of whom have contacted me prior to this call. To both attempt to collect a alleged debt without a letter giving a person the right to review or dispute and/or implying legal action if not actually being true is I thought illegal in Texas. I will be contacting the CFPB with a formal complaint if there is no response here.

Before we contact any account, a letter is to be sent to the consumers address for verification but if the consumer is stating she has never received anything in regards to this then we would have no problem getting her the requested information.       The company called my boyfriend and his parents not sure how they got that info its not public knowledege. I ask them to stop calling the numbers and to just call me they refused. I called to get the account info and they would not provide me with anything unless I provide my social then they hung the phone up on me. they said there number was ###-###-#### the name of the company is unity Asset management LLC. when I asked for the legal department they said they dont have one and this is a filing agency. The voicemail left on my broyfriends dad phone gave a case number of ****** and to call ext 12

Mrs. ****** contacted our office on 10/14/2021 asking a bunch of questions that we tried our best answering for her but she wouldn’t let us answer most of them.  The consumer basically just wanted to know what was going on and we could not do that because we have a verification process that we have to go through so we make sure we are speaking with the correct party. The consumer was not allowing us to answer any of her questions without being cutoff. The consumer stated that we had called her boyfriend and her boyfriends dad and we tried explaining that we couldn’t get in contact her with so we tried the other numbers that were listed on her account. Once we got off the phone with her on 10/14/2021 her account was placed in a cease-and-desist status as we felt the consumer did not want to be contacted anymore and to reduce the risk of lawsuit. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that we caused to the consumer and we did not mean to cause any issues.
