In May of 2013, the seller of our house contracted Tony to do a full tear off on the roof on the back portion of the house and paid him $5,000 to do so, the original roof was rotted and leaking. Tony did this work as a condition of the sale. He was paid directly by the seller on this. In Summer 2014, we contracted Tony to do a full tear off on the front portion as well, since it started leaking. He didn't do what we hired him to do and put an illegal 3rd layer on the roof. We paid approximately $3,000 for this very small portion of roof. In 2020, The skylight in the Kitchen started leaking and he we hired him to replace both skylights. He charged us $2,500 to do this and It never stopped leaking, We called over and over again only to be strung along for the next several months, claiming he was coming to take a look at it but eventually stopped responding to any communication. In late 2020 we tried to seal this ourselves since we were out of money trying to fix this leak problem, which held up until last summer. In 2022 we hired another roofing company, to take a look at the skylight, it was at this point that we were told there was never any tear off done on the front or the back, that the new skylights were installed over 3+ layers of roof, which is illegal where I live. As a result of the multiple roof layers, the skylight would never be able to seal properly and Tony's company destroyed the skylights by installing them incorrectly so the skylights weren't able to be reused once we did have the roof fixed. Since 2022 - We paid over $10k trying to hire other companies to rectify the terrible things that he has done to our house and roof over the last 10 years as we are in the process of having the original roof replaced for $6,000 as it is now leaking and was found to even more than 3 layers on it... All work done by Tony's company. I am not looking a full refund, but honestly any amount to defray the cost of multiple repairs would be helpful.

On 4/9/22 I contracted Tony's Independent Contracting to replace the roof on my house. An initial deposit of $4,000 was provided on that date. The remaining balance due upon completion of the job. The job was performed on 4/11/22. A walk around was completed by myself and Tony and he was provided with the remaining balance. However, what I did not notice was that his workers still had their extension ladder up on the front of the house when we did the walk around. Very soon after payment was given and we went in the house, Tony's workers removed the ladder and everyone left. Later that evening, my wife and myself walked around again looking for nails and debris that may have been missed and that is when we noticed two 8' sections of gutter that the ladder was leaning up against were completely destroyed by the ladder the men were transporting shingles with to the roof. I called Tony immediately, he answered and told us for the first of about 20 times that he would be coming out to the house the next day to take care of it. It is now 8/30/22 and Tony has refused to follow through with the replacement of the two gutters his men destroyed. He has refused to answer any phone calls or ever respond back to any text in the last two months. We will be taking him to small claims court for the damages.
